What a special and magical place Demeure des Valette is! This was our second visit to this splendid hotel. The hosts Agnes and Elisabeth are extremely generous and welcoming. Elisabeth is such a wonderful chef: delicious soups, delectable, tasty and plentiful main courses and her yummy desserts being tarte tatin au poire then the following evening it was brioche perdu. We felt very spoilt indeed when my husband requested lamb for dinner and Elisabeth was only to happy to prepare this for us. The dining and breakfast tables were always presented with both care and pride. One night we enjoyed cheese, a green salad and crusty beside an open fire. The hotel itself is more than just charming with its decor and rustic surroundings it provides a calm environment made even more special by Elisabeth and Agnes. Thank you and until next time!

The bed was comfortable.
Small towels, had to ask for larger towels. Bath in room was difficult to use for older people, no facility to place bathing items. Long steep flight of stairs. Generally everything was good quality but impractical to use. Not very suitable for the older guest. Very remote location.
