Peaceful, idyllic, remote, relaxing.
Location beside the river, surrounded by woodlands, is incredible. It was remote, peaceful and very relaxing. The cottage is small and charming but ideal for us. The views are wonderful and we enjoyed dinner on the deck overlooking the river. Short walk through the woods to the nearest train station.
The approach road is not great, as stated in the description, so follow the advice. But its a small compromise for such a wonderful remote and peaceful spot.

fantastic peaceful cottage with beautiful garden and decking .
fantastic little cottage , excellent facilities , really comfortable beds , location by the river beautiful really peaceful .
not really didn’t like , but the drive from the main road is long and very narrow with lots of bumps in the lane, the bridge is very interesting to manoeuvre.

Lovely peaceful cottage in beautiful surroundings
Amazing location, it is remote but that added to the charm. The view is just stunning. The cottage was lovely and had everything and more that you needed whilst staying. The river was superb, kids loved feeding the ducks and swans and taking the kayak out on it. The neighbours both sides are lovely and welcoming and so helpful. The walk to the village and train station is about 20 mins up hill but our just turned 4 year old managed it just fine. Lots of great places nearby to visit and explore. The cottage made an excellent base for a week away.
Due to having little ones a stair gate at the top of the stairs would have been handy as they are a little steep.

Exceptional cottage
Beautiful quiet location, not easy to access due to steep narrow drive, need a small car that you don’t mind if it gets scratched by trees, narrow bridge also.
Could do with kitchen scissors and wooden spoons, but everything else you could possibly need

Horrible. No proper communication between the owner, Sykes and Booking.com
Promised to get money back in 45 days time.
It didn't work well as usual at Booking.com as property is managed by Sykes cottages company. Booking.com didn't have a full description on their website, only after I made my booking Sykes send me an email with additional property details. Only from this email I found out property is hard to reach, there is a narrow line and a bridge that leads to the property, it's not suitable for bigger cars/vans/deliveries. I called Sykes asking for a cancellation due to that reason as we have a big car, but they said they will get back to me, only to email few days later saying sorry they can't cancel it for free, I will be charged nearly full amount of the holiday if I want to cancel. I went back to booking.com as in the past they were always brilliant, on this occasion they said they can't help it's up to Sykes. Phoned Sykes again, escalated my complaint further. Only a week before my holiday was due I got an email from Sykes saying the owner of the property could not accommodate our stay from the day it was booked from! It was booked from 12th of April to 17th, so after more than a month of waiting I found out it's not available! After I already paid the full amount! Well now they say they will give us full refund, but I have to wait 45 days for it, as they are extremely busy! Horrendous experience! Unfortunately we couldn't book any other holiday on such a short notice for our available dates. Very disappointed.

I would definitely go back there, even considering living there if it came up for sale!
The location is amazing, the cottage is quaint and the views awesome. The hosts were very accommodating and were prompt to answer my texts. The neighbours were very friendly and helpful. If you like the water, bring your kayaks as there is direct access into the River Tamar with amazing trips up and down river. Check your tide times to get your journey right!
The small bridge which you need to cross is just about possible with a long wheelbase VW Transporter but don't bring anything bigger or wider! The problem is more acute leaving the cottage rather than arriving.
