The room was very nice, exactly like the pictures. The balcony area was very lovely. Very clean room. I stayed the first nice in one of the bungalow rooms, it was not bad, just very small, okay for a night or two. After that I moved to one of the lower rooms, the normal hotel rooms. Much more spacious.
The traffic noise can be heard as this guest house is right off the main road, and it's a busy road. I used ear plugs and that was fine. Breakfast is okay, its quite small and the only two options are a pancake or scrambled eggs, tea or coffee, which was totally fine, the pancake was really nice. Just something to note if you like a bigger, more varied breakfast, you might like to skip the breakfast option and get something elsewhere.

The property is quiet and in a well located area for those seeking the cal attractions and some local restaurants away from the centrali road business. As this is a Homestay the host and family are incredibly welcoming- it did in fact feel like being in a home. Nangade shared with me the family history, why the house is designed the way it is, thr history of the carvings which added for me a deep sense of insight into the local culture; he shared many topics in conversation including how Balinese culture expresses itself in its various forms, which illuminated some moments for me of deep contemplation and unexpected insights that can only arise when truly listening! We spoke at length and Nangade was so gracious to share this time with me; it was truly a stay that will be memorable on many levels! The Homestay over all was excellent, clean, tidy, and comfortable bed and peaceful!
