A cosy and beautifully restored period cottage in a vineyard within walking distance of wineries

Location, location - a view of the adjacent vineyard from the kitchen window was beautiful. Very cosy and beautifully restored period cottage with all facilities needed. Within walking distance to at least two wineries, a perfect place to relax and enjoy some lovely McLaren Vale wines.

Beautiful cottage over priced

Location is great.

Breakfast was a bit light on. Would have loved to have seen some local products. The towels where like sand paper.

Wonderful accommodation in a heritage listed cottage!

It was absolutely lovely! The cottage was super clean, the bathroom was beautiful and the kitchen had absolutely everything you could need - including fresh baked bread and milk. The owners have done a fantastic job restoring the heritage listed property and it was really interesting to hear Paul discuss the history of Peppermint Farm. The location was stunning and there were Ubers available at all times so we didn't have to worry about drink driving. Overall an excellent experience and we'll be booking for a longer stay next time!

Nothing - everything was there! Just beware if you're a tall person because these colonial cottages were built low.

Wonderful property in a prime location to enjoy the best of Mclaren Vale wineries

The location and outlook were beautiful. The house was very comfortable and well appointed. Paul came to say hi and shared his story of the property history.

would have know worries staying there again.

Breakfast was good the home baked bread was awesome. The reverse cycle heater worked well, and putting heater on early enough to get house up to temperature. the location was very quite, surrounded by vines. and close to many wineries and McLaren vale main street a few minuets away.

The wife would have liked a light over the bathroom mirror for applying makeup we took the mirror down and stood in the kitchen so she could see better. All the house lights are compact fluro which arnt very bright swapping to LED's would be better. i like it bright i know some people dont. and the wood fire was virtually useless, but he did warn us about that. The water was off due to works on Binney RD for a few hours on Saturday. Slight inconvenience.

We would recommend Peppermint cottage for a lovely relaxing break.Will stay again.

Beautiful views of the neighbouring vineyards.The owner was very amenable, gave us some good recommendations on nearby wineries. Home made bread and extras for breakfast was a delight.

Lovely location, quirky cottage with adequate breakfast & facilities. Would recommend.

Hosts friendly & informative. Location was lovely, cottage a little quirky but nice.

Unfortunately there was at least one mouse in the cottage. First spotted in one of the bedrooms which meant that sleep was disrupted.

I can't wait to return.

Peppermint farm cottage is a very lovely cottage set at the end of a driveway surrounded by a vineyard. Walking into the cottage immediately makes you feel like you're on holiday. What an absolute gem of a restored building which is more than you expect and the perfect place to relax either after a busy day wine-tasting, or just to simply get out of the city for a moment to recharge.

Comfortable and well located character cottage in the McLaren Vale wine region.

Very comfortable and as advertised in a central part of the McLaren Vale vineyards. Paul, the host was very response and we would recommend if you wanted a cottage with old world charm.

Great vineyard location in country cottage

Right in the middle of wine country, the perfect location to explore McLaren vale wineries. This is actually located amongst the vineyards so you cant get any closer. Down the road one of the family vineyards has a cellar door and great atmosphere. We were not far from town only 5 min really, but loved the seclusion from noise and city streets. The restoration on the cottage is immaculate and takes you back to the feel of living the country life, while providing the modern amenities that we come accustomed to . We will be back, hopefully not too distant future, great experience and helpful hosts

wish we could stay longer.

Such a charming cottage, beautiful surroundings, overall an amazing weekend.

The location was just beautiful. Everything in the cottage was well thought out. The breakfast was just beautiful with so many options. The hosts went out of their way to make sure we had everything that we needed.
