We had booked two rooms, a triple in the new building and a double room in the old ones. The triple room was very comfortable, clean and spacious. There is also a veranda so you can sit outside. Breakfast was very yummy and filling, freshly cooked, with eggs, sausages, bacon, toasts, butter and jam, muesli yogurt, juice more than one person can eat! There are two local restaurants nearby, good and affordable.
Beware that access might be difficult for toddlers if you are given the last room in the old building, It's more like a ladder of three steps to enter the bungalow.

Comfortable bed with mosquito nets. Nice and private huts with good AC and WiFi. Good opportunity to book local tours at the hotel front desk.
Quite a long walk away from the town. Not that many other guests (but I guess that’s just because it was low season).

Bed was comfy, quiet and spacious room. Good value for money if you want a private room.
There was no water when we arrived for a couple hours so was advised to use shared toilets and showers (seems bad when you pay for a private bathroom, may as well be in a hostel). We got passed around staff when we were checking in almost as if we were an inconvenience to everyone. No info was given at check in about tours and excursions. It’s a 15 minute walk to the main strip, and with extreme rain and heat in Khao Sok it’s definitely worth paying a little more to stay on the main street.
