Very last minute booking, didn’t know the area at all and so glad we chose Bang In The Wells for a much needed break!

Fantastic little gem of a hotel, staff incredibly friendly and accommodating, great food, great atmosphere, great room (we were in The Attic). Will definitely choose Bang In The Wells again next time we’re up that way, perfect getaway for a couple of nights :-)

Great stay in Bang.

The room my daughter and I stayed in was lovely, the bathroom was very nice and modern nice fluffy towels.

My only concern was the fridge in the room it was in a cupboard and didn't keep water and drinks cold it was very hot when the door was opened, had to leave the cupboard door open to get any benefit, apart from that everything else was great.

Always a pleasure to come to Wells ,great to find a spot to stay that’s near it all and has it all.

The breakfast was excellent for a fussy husband who rates his breakfasts on a sausage score 10 out of 10. Rare for us !

Keep doing what you’re doing.. did not even mind the dogs! Only exception could do with a light at the back entrance to see the keypad in the dark to get back in.. phone torch came to rescue!

Lovely, friendly place to stay

Really comfortable bed! Lovely breakfast. And very friendly staff.

A perfect break. Only for one night this time. We will happily extend our stay next time.

The room was spacious and quiet, and the bathroom was large and everything worked beautifully. The service in the restaurant was efficient and friendly. A little gem.

Superb

It was generally very good. 1st days breakfast was 10/10 the second day the breakfast was still nice but the eggs were over cooked. The evening meals we had were very nice.

Fireplace in the bathroom = amazing

The room was beautiful: perfect balance of period quirk and modern convenience. The breakfast was delicious and - unlike many b&bs - we weren't forced up at 7am to eat! Location was ideal too, right at the top of the main shopping street and opposite a few pubs.

A bit of an admin glitch meant we had to wait to get into our room. Oh, and nothing to do with the accommodation but be warned that everything shuts really early in Wells!

Lovely stay, room more than comfortable, location was excellent. Would certainly recommend it.

Breakfast was ok. Room was spacious and well equipped. Bathroom was large and very good. Fridge was a bonus.

WIFI was more off than on but not a problem. Not much to not like.

Lovely one night stay

Nice big spacious room and bathroom extremely clean. The location was perfect right in the centre of Wells. Lady was very friendly and we had a fab breakfast was a little wait but worth it! Would highly recommend :)

Fabulous quality clean rooms. Dog friendly comfortable and trendy vibe to the whole experience. We ate many times during our stay. The quality of the food was outstanding. Big thanks to all the staff

Very good

Lovely room, excellent central location, very good food.

Had to go through the restaurant to get to and from our room which is not too much of a big deal. The older gentleman working at front of house Thursday night seemed a bit grumpy because I didn’t have a mask or track and trace 😂

Amazing!

The reason we always come back to Bang in Wells is because it’s a very unique property and the very few rooms they have are all individual. Great touches and you feel at home. The staff are very friendly and can’t do enough for you and the breakfast is a winner! Great location for a lovely stay in Wells and to visit surrounding areas.
