The location was excellent, the room was comfortable, if a little small, the staff were brilliant.
The cost was a little OTT. I stay in a lot of hotels and so I know the sort of price a property should be charging.

I stay at The Crown several times a year. It’s a great hotel, well fun, thr staff are friendly, the food is a lovely range of locally sourced fish etc. the location on the Georgian square next to the high street and close to the beach makes a perfect place to stay.

Great location. Food is great. Wine selection very good. Lovely bar and lounge area.
Rooms are tired. Bathrooms need updated.
Dining room has an awkward atmosphere. Some staff are rude and miserable.
