Stay at Plattens

N/a. Location was excellent with a lovely view. Setup of the room with a small longe area was a nice surprise.

Perhaps a small shelf in the en suite but that would be nit-picking. Dragging the suitcase up the lovely staircase but given the design of the building there was no alternative and it wasn’t too much of a problem.

Loved the location, although we didn't know that it was above a chip shop. Luckily it was shut that day so we didn't need to worry about smells. We paid a few pound extra for sea view and it was worth it! It was lovely sitting by the window in the provided cozy corner. Nice touches like being provided with both still and sparkling water as well as apple juice. Chip shop, bakers and nice pizza place within 100ft.

We hadn't realised there was no parking included and had to pay £22 to park in the nearest car park. We chose this place for our 2nd night in Wells as it was £40 cheaper but by the time we paid for breakfast and parking it was no cheaper.... but the view was worth it.

We travelled as a group staying at different locations near to each other via car . Platten’s , Byfords & The Host arms . We all asked for one night stay two rooms . The Plattens was very clean Bathroom dark even with two lights on . Complimentary water chocolates, apple juice . Water . . When speaking to our group we paid £double for our rooms & they had breakfast included. View from the Plattens undeniably the best . However sound proofing ? We heard doors banging & were worried some people had come up from the open outside door & were in the communal lounge area . Code for our doors still felt unclear who was there ..The Byfords & The Hoste Arms excellent value for money . We paid double for our stay for a view . Thankyou to Emma who showed us to our rooms.
