Beautiful stay in a beautiful town

Lulu's place is amazing. The interiors are beautiful and the location is amazing. Lulu is very polite and helpful. She gave us some recommendations for places to go and they were really great. The breakfast is very delicious too.

Beautiful place but no welcoming atmosphere

The location is nice and the room is beautiful. Breakfast is served at 8am and is really nice.

Overall we had the feeling that we were rather a burden for the host. The atmosphere was quite negative and even though the place is nice we did not feel welcome. The window for check in is quite narrow and when we arrived we could not see any note on how we can get into the room. When we called the host, she wanted to sell us a more expensive room. The front door remains open day and night, which resulted in people going into the house at 2.30am and knocking at our door. Turns out that they had a reservation, but did not know where to go. The fact that everyone can walk into the building and common area made us feel rather unsafe. While packing we got told that we are late for check out, even though check out on booking is at 11am. The host stated it is 10am, but did also not inform us during our stay about this.

Very poor.

You would expect that a charge for cleaning would mean cleaning would be done! Bathroom was never cleaned had to remove hair around shower along with floors no toileteries provide except a very liquidy hand soap. Bedroom was never cleaned or bed made, along with towels never changed. Location not close enough to town to walk so had to take car. Parking was difficult whenwe got back to B&B one night others cars parked in driveway and had to wait for someone to get out to park.. Overall very poor experience with little positive especially clenliness.

Cleaning of the bathroom andvpicking up of dirty glasses would have been nice.

Exceptional

Lulu is a warm and welcoming hostess, and made us feel immediately at home from the moment we arrived. The room was very clean, as was the bathroom, and the bed was quite comfortable. The breakfast was excellent! The location was tranquil, overlooking a vineyard, The gardens were lush and in full bloom. We had a nice and very private patio to enjoy the evening. I'd definitely stay there again

Great Stay. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely stay at LuLu Guesthouse. Charming host with lots of tips for this charming town. Amazing breakfast. Close to the old city and situated in a pretty neighbourhood. Highly recommended. Room was very clean and well decorated with views of the vinyard out back.

NOTL is a very relaxing weekend.

NOTL is a lovely area and we had a great time. The host/owner is very knowledgeable about the area and has great suggestions. The master bedroom we reserved was the best in the house (had our own bathroom!!!!).

Breakfast was made each morning, but was nothing special. Coffee and tea were not readily available. This location is around 1 mile from the shops, so the walk was a bit more than we would have liked. It was a bit warm in our room.

Superb

Really wonderful breakfast! Lulu was so welcoming and allowed us to check in at a convenient time. The property is only a short walk from the old town of Niagara On The Lake, and we loved the furnishings in the house too! The bed was very comfortable and we will definitely return the next time we come back to NOTL!

We would love to return to Lulu's and will be recommending to friends and family.

Our breakfasts were superbly prepared and beautifully plated. Lulu was a wonderful hostess; attentive and professional. Our room was beautifully appointed and a romantic view of the of the vineyard right behind her home. The location was in a lovely quiet neighbourhood; close to the main street and attractions. Lulu made reservations for tastings at Jackson-Triggs where we had so much fun. And recommended dinner at Ruffino's which was AMAZING - Thank you so much.

We truly could not find any fault. All aspects of our stay at Lulu's were exceptional.

Lulu's will make you welcome

It was very nice meeting Lulu. She was warm and welcoming from the moment we met. The rooms were exceptionally clean, and the beds were comfortable. We sat out on the private side deck on a beautiful warm night and enjoyed the evening. The breakfast in the morning was delicious which included a fresh fruit portion, followed by a warm omelet with toasted Naan.

Excellent and exceptionally well-run BnB!

Spent two wonderful days at this exceptional B 'n B. The host Marylou (aka LuLu) was very welcoming, friendly, informative and engaging -- all while still respecting our privacy. The room was immaculate, very nicely appointed, bed was comfy, and we happened to have an ensuite. Breakfast was fabulous. Very accessible to the downtown Queen Street area via a few minutes drive. Truly, it felt like we were visiting a "friend of a friend" who opened her house to us. We would definitely stay there again if we venture back to Niagara-on-the-Lake.

Probably would not stay there again because of the distance.

Property was lovely. Breakfast was very nice. Owner was very engaging. Made u feel at home.

The property was much farther from town than I had anticipated. We prefer to park our car and walk everywhere in town. Also, was very surprised that there were no televisions in the rooms. We have stayed at least 6 or 7 other B&B’s in NOTL and all have had televisions in the rooms. Face soap and an iron and ironing board in the room would have been nice. These things are usually provided.
