Emerald Maldives Resort & Spa-Deluxe All Inclusive

Our stay at Emerald Resort & Spa Maldives was absolutely unforgettable. From the moment we arrived until the emotional moment we left, everything was simply perfect. The resort, the beautiful beach, the food, the service, and most importantly, the people made this one of the best holidays we have ever had. One of the highlights of our stay was the amazing evening we had at Teppanyaki Restaurant. It was such a fun and memorable experience, and a very special thank you to our fantastic chef, Vikas. He was brilliant entertaining, friendly, and incredibly talented. He made the whole evening so enjoyable, and the food was absolutely delicious. It was definitely one of the nights we will remember for a long time. We also want to give a huge thank you to the wonderful team at the Sunset Beach Bar. I honestly wish I could remember all of their names because every single one of them did a brilliant job. They were always smiling, welcoming, attentive, and made us feel so comfortable. Their service and friendliness really stood out. The same goes for the team at Beach Club Grill. Every member of the staff was fantastic, and the service was consistently excellent. Everyone we met throughout the resort was so friendly and genuinely wanted to make sure we were having a great time. The Kids Club was another big highlight for our family. The children absolutely loved it, and it was wonderful to see how caring, patient, and professional the team were. They created such a fun and welcoming environment for the kids, which also gave us the opportunity to relax and enjoy some quality time ourselves. A very special mention must go to our villa host, Sid. He did a truly amazing job and was one of the people who made our stay so special. Sid was incredibly helpful, thoughtful, friendly, and attentive throughout our entire holiday. Nothing was ever too much trouble for him, and he always made sure everything was taken care of.

There is absolutely nothing to complain about. Everything was spot on, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Emerald embraces you and tends to all your needs and wishes from the moment that you set foot in Malé until you get on your return flight. This made a world of difference to me: after the trip from hell to Maldives, culminating with a delayed suitcase, I was in all states when I finally arrived at the island. Stepping out of the seaplane though, I was greeted warmly by staff, who went out of their way to reassure me that I should just relax and enjoy my holidays. They went much further than words, providing me with complimentary items and services during the 3 days that my suitcase was missing. So, instead of ruining things, this incident became an internal joke on the island and the introduction to a sublime 2-week experience. I wish to thank from heart Jude, the omnipresent resort manager; Shafi, my wonderful villa host; and Nazmul, my impeccable villa attendant; for their human touch, genuine care, constant attentiveness, and pure dedication to ensuring my wellbeing and comfort throughout my stay. It did not stop with them. Emerald is much more than a great resort with luxury villas, beautiful beaches, and fine cuisine. It shows real soul, generosity, and a wonderful personal touch wherever you go and whomever you engage with. I was constantly amazed by staff being so intimately aware of my preferences: many thanks to Alisha and Tina at the Aqua restaurant, who always remembered my choice of drinks; to KD for the nice tables next to the surf; to Asfag, Nitin, and Eyman, who always tended to me with a friendly smile and chat; to Vikram and his talented chefs at my beloved Beach Club Grill; to tireless Pawan at the Sunset Beach Bar; to Ashwad, for our fun football chats while driving around in his buggy; and to Siddi for her kind care. I would be remiss if I did not mention the Diving Centre crew and excursions. Special thanks goes to Erin, the marine biologist and my personal diving instructor, who taught me so much and literally opened a new world to me!

Absolutely nothing - everything was perfect! The island was stunning and offered impeccable amenities; the house reef was full of impressive marine life to enjoy while snorkelling or diving just a few meters from the shore; my water villa was extremely spacious, comfortable, well-stocked, and with dreamy views over the ocean; and the food and drinks in the 4 restaurants and 2 bars consistently ranked between great and exquisite throughout my stay – what else can you possibly ask for? All and all, this holiday exceeded by far my expectations and turned out to be one of the most memorable in years. Big heartfelt thanks to the entire Emerald Maldives Resort & Spa team!

Beautiful Beach villas, good sports facilities (Tennis, Padel, Gym, Watersports…), excellent food with buffet and multiple A-la-carte choices, and very friendly staff. The dream holiday begins with the warm welcome reception on arrival, and a dedicated host takes care of each and every wish and request during the stay (thank you Sid for your excellent service!). We loved snorkeling right in front of our villa and saw many reef fish incl. (friendly) sharks, see needles, unicorn & parrot fish and once even a sea turtle. On land, the fruit bats are fun and impressive to watch when they get active in the afternoons. Sunsets with a nice cocktail at the Sunset Cafe were amazing. And the mindfully-chosen departure gifts well appreciated. Recommend the Sea Turtle snorkeling tour, even though it’s pricy. But it’s wonderful to see these creatures in action, and the guides were very knowledgeable and helpful.

Extra activities and Spa treatments are on the pricy side, but we were told that’s just how it works on the Maldives.

From the moment we landed in Malé, we knew we were in for something special. We were looked after from the very first moment, with every transfer and detail taken care of seamlessly. Stepping off the seaplane and arriving at Emerald Maldives Resort & Spa, we were greeted with the warmest welcome, and from that point onwards we genuinely felt like valued guests rather than just another room number. We came here for our honeymoon and couldn’t have chosen a more perfect place to celebrate such a special occasion. The island itself is breathtaking. The crystal-clear turquoise water, powder-soft white sand and lush tropical surroundings look even more spectacular than the photos. Everywhere you turn feels like a postcard, and waking up every morning to those incredible views is something we’ll never forget. The food deserves a special mention because it was simply outstanding. Across all four restaurants, we honestly didn’t have a single bad mouthful all week. Every meal felt like a fine dining experience, with incredible quality, beautifully presented dishes and such a wide variety of cuisine that we were constantly excited to see what was next. It’s incredibly rare to stay somewhere for a week and never once be disappointed by a meal, but Emerald absolutely achieved that. The spa was another highlight of our stay. We were lucky enough to have the complimentary honeymoon couples massage and it was one of the best spa experiences we’ve ever had. It was so relaxing and professionally delivered that we immediately booked ourselves in for another treatment later in the week. The range of massages and treatments available is fantastic, and the whole spa creates such a peaceful, luxurious atmosphere that you never want to leave. One of the biggest reasons our holiday felt so effortless was our incredible host, Sid. He was absolutely exceptional from start to finish and genuinely made our entire stay seamless.
