Furaveri Maldives - COMPLIMENTARY ROUND-TRIP SEAPLANE TRANSFER FOR TWO FOR A MINIMUM OF 5 NIGHTS OR MORE FOR STAYS 1ST MAY 2026 TO 23RD DECEMBER 2026

Extremely clean, absolutely beautiful. The staff are all so friendly and were teaching us their local language. The house reef was beautiful and we got our open water dive tickets and dived some spectacular sites.

We weren’t there long enough.

We spent two wonderful weeks at Furaveri and had the best time! The island is a little paradise, with beautiful beaches, turquoise water and exceptionally spacious villas with private pools. But the real highlight was the staff. Honestly, some of the best hospitality we have ever experienced in the Maldives! A huge thank you to Naz, our wonderful hostess, who was absolutely amazing throughout our stay. Always available, incredibly caring and helpful. The dedicated hostess service is something we had not experienced at other Maldivian resorts, and it really makes Furaveri special. Arwin from reservations is another absolute star! Always responsive and helpful, and he even came personally to say goodbye. Such a lovely gesture! Special thanks also to Asad at the restaurant, Indranil, Saddam from housekeeping and Hisan, who welcomed us at the airport. Apologies to everyone else whose names I cannot remember. The entire team was exceptional! The resort even has its own airport lounge, which was a lovely touch. We also thoroughly enjoyed the massages. The people truly make this place special. We couldn’t have asked for a more wonderful holiday!

The main disappointment was the Premium All Inclusive package, which unfortunately felt more like full board than genuinely all-inclusive. Although the resort advertises seven restaurants, only three were available under our package without additional charges, and even those offered very limited menus. To order from the regular menu, you receive a $40 credit, which barely covers one main course. There were also some strange inconsistencies. Ice cream was free at the buffet, but a milkshake cost $15. Samosas were included at the buffet but cost around $15 at the à la carte restaurants. The afternoon bar food selection was particularly disappointing, consisting mainly of popcorn, a few leftover-style dishes and more samosas. The minibar was not fully included, was not restocked daily, and snacks were excluded from the Premium All Inclusive package. The buffet soups were excellent and the food was generally enjoyable, but the overall variety could be better. I hope the owners reconsider the package. Guests paying for Premium All Inclusive should not constantly have to check what is included and what costs extra. This is a management issue rather than a reflection of the wonderful staff.
