Good communication with person in charge, good location

Location, just in the heart of Myeongdong walking steer and close to train station. The snack bar also very good, I can 24 hours enjoy the cereal and coffee

Maybe the space is too limited, but the price I think is worth to stay there, i stay for 3 nights

Artravel is a hassle-free, welcoming yet tucked away little guesthouse in the heart of one of Seoul's most bustling areas. There is a self check-in-check-out system which is made possible by the very comprehensive digital instructions, which include additional thoughtful details such as transport options and photographs showing how to find and enter the building. The entrance is discreet which ensures a level of privacy and safety in what is otherwise a rather busy nightlife spot in Seoul. I stayed in a twin room as I was travelling with a family member, and was slightly worried about space as I had large and heavy baggage with me for the trip. However, the rooms are incredibly well-designed so that there is ample storage below the beds, side tables for storing additional goods, a TV, mirrors, en suite wetroom, a hanging area for coats, and even a basket of useful supplies (e.g. a travel adapter for the sockets, and a hairdryer). There was also a mini-fridge for storing any personal food items, and artworks to decorate the space, both of which were a homely attribute. I did not take full advantage of the shared amenities, but had my trip been any longer then I definitely would have used the washing machine. Other guests were very respectful of the 'house rules' to ensure a peaceful nights rest, i.e. not using the washing machine past 11pm. The kitchen is very well-equipped with supplies, including a range of free juices, cereals, tea, coffee, bread, condiments and pantry items for cooking, all of which were refreshed daily. There was a little convenience 'stall' between the kitchen and the hallway where guests had the option to purchase additional items, such as laundry detergent, shampoo, or even ramen packs. Cleaners visited each day to refresh towels, and one day while I was resting in the room they even left some for me at the reception area - a caring gesture.

There are so few things I didn't like about Artravel. The first comes down to personal taste; I have a preference for medium/firm mattresses, however the mattresses at Artravel are quite ... solid, which I believe is common in Seoul and other parts of Asia. After a few days, your body will adjust, but I urge you to keep that adjustment period in mind, particularly if you're looking to get a quality night of rest after long-haul travel. The second is about the heating system. I travelled in peak wintertime with temperatures getting to -15 some days, and not once did I feel cold while inside the guesthouse - at times, it felt actually a little too hot and stuffy?! I appreciate the efficiency of underfloor heating, and having the peace of mind that I will be warm enough throughout my stay, but sometimes this was a little difficult to handle. Lastly, the shower was brilliant, so no issues there. After showering, however, (and perhaps enhanced by the heating system) it takes quite some time for the steam to dissipate. There seems to be a little bit of mould outside the bathroom door ceiling of the room in which I stayed, again perhaps due to weak ventilation and an extremely efficient heating system, so by the end of my stay I did start to notice a 'damp' or 'humid' smell. Overall, it is definitely a 9/10 stay and these are minor details, but worth keeping in mind.

カトラリーが使えたこと。

支払いの予定と実際が食い違っていたこと。チェックインの方法もよく分からず、連絡しなければ分からなかった。無人チェックイン・アウトならもう少しスムーズに手続き行えるようにして欲しかった。

安さに釣られて、、勉強になりました。

繁華街の真ん中に位置していたのでとても便利でした。近くにコンビニもあります。スタッフの方と少しすれ違うこともありましたが、軽く挨拶してくれました。

韓国式に慣れてなさすぎたのが原因だとは思いますが、やはり値段と風呂、トイレの位置は比例しますね。ガラスでシャワー室が仕切られてますが、その中にトイレもあります。なのでシャワーをした後はトイレもしんなりします。床もトイレも一緒なので、私には合いませんでした。洗面台が小さ過ぎて顔を洗う度に足が濡れます。あと、エレベーターはありますが、ちょうどその階にエレベーターがあるというよりは、中階にエレベーターがあるので、大きなキャリーをまずエレベーターを乗るために持って上がります。そして利用階におりたとしても、キャリーを持って階段を降りるか上がるかしなくてはいけません。

Very good

The position is great, in the centre of Myeongdong, the food stall Street in the night, shopping centre and a short walk to all the attractions. Metro station in 3 minutes walking.

The room for 4 was actually the smallest one we found in Corea, but was compensate by price an position!

+ Good location in Myeongdong. + Very clean. + Kind staff. + Good communal facilities.

- The room is quite small for 2 people and a large suitcase. - Due to construction outside, there was quite a lot of noise in the morning, which was unfortunate.

Great location in Seoul

Location was right in Myeongdong, which is great, amenities were super good too. Terrace was nice, WiFi was good and common places as well

Just that sheets were not iron and some hairs were found in the bed and in the bathroom

Great value for the money

Great location! Nearby many restaurants, shops, line 2 and 4 of metro, shopping mall, Minisoo etc. Fast contact via booking with owners. Small but nice common area/hall with shared kitchen and some armchairs. Cute interior design. Nice add-on - bath room with big bath. Room small but with everything needed (even slippers for room and for bathroom). Comfortable beds and space under beds to put luggage there. Good cosmetics in the bathroom.

Due to location it was quite noisy from outside, even with closed windows (music from shops from 9am till 11pm). Also it was not soundproof from inside noises, like people sitting in common area. Even though I chose a room with window - the window faced a wall (like 10cm to next building). Quite poor ventilation so it was quite wet in the room as well as in the hall. Every 2 days there was someone coming in to change towels and check common space but they could also throw out rubbish, especially that you shouldn't put anything in the toilet (toilet paper also).

the location of the hotel is quite good. It is located in the center of Myeongdong. It is easy to travel from the airport to the hotel. Easy to find food. We haven't met the staff but he always replied our messages when we asked in through the Booking chat.

There was a sound in the early of the morning. It was like a construction around there. We had to wake up because of the sound! The room is quite smaller than we expect. If you are not familiar with the location, you might find it difficult to reach the hotel since the sign is not that big to easy to see.

Good location but that's it.

The location. Owner/staff was also responsive through chat though never seen onsite. The shampoo, conditioner, and body wash provided smelled good.

Our experience started with the building elevators. Elevators stop between two floors (like a mezzanine), so you would have to carry your luggage up and down the stairs. Not advisable for when you have a lot of heavy bags. The room was not as clean as we had hoped it would be. The trash bin cover could be easily removed and still had stains left by the previous users. The bed was uncomfortable, with one side higher than the other; gave my husband backpains as his back wasn't level. Hair can be found on the bedframe and floors, like it wasn't vacuumed well. Airconditioner gave off a weird smell when turned on.

Able to coordinate smoothly thru apps .. no hassle..

lodging in the hostel has to endure noise from outside.. like wise ppl talking outside till v late.. u can hear and endure noise pollution.. other than that everything is fine..

This is my first solo trip and I have to say I made the right decision to stay at Artravel! I had questions and modifica

absolutely amazing location!easy to get to and from ICN airport. Contactless check in and out. Common area is cute and has everything you need including washing machine. Last day check out can accommodate luggage until you leave for airport.

Bed isn’t too comfortable unfortunately. But for the location price and value, not comply.

Disappointing

Location is very convenience ( near myeongdong night market)

The room that I book quite dirty especially the blanket, when I fold the blanket that got a lot of dust "fly out" (white colour things don't know what's that), the window curtain dusty also.

value and location also super warm and snug during winter

no toilet paper , not the cleanest , very noisy outside my window into the early morning. no staff when l checked and no one when l checked out, a little unusual.

Superb

The location is perfect. The room looks really modern and clean. I would definitely recommend it. After the first night we asked for a room with a window and they gave us another room what was really nice!

It was quite small and not that noice canceling but I would say that this is pretty normal in korea so I would say that this is a minus
