About this house rental
Nestled in Williamstown, this charming house for $145 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. This house is 5 miles from the Ark and is 40 miles from the Creation Museum. We are only 32 miles from the Greater Cincinnati Airport. We are located right between Cincinnati Ohio and Lexington Kentucky, 2 miles of Interstate 75. There is a large lake located just 6 miles from the house. Large old house that sits on an acre lot. The farm with House was purchased in 1943 by Cline and Pearl King. At that time they were told the house was 100 years old and with that being said it would have been built pre Civil War era. They named the road Kings Heights an in the 90s the city changed it to Kings Drive. Over the years the farm land has been divided out. Part for other homes and what farm is left is owned by a private owner not a family member. The house over the years has had renovation inside and out but a lot of the old remains. Now we are the Great Grandchildren and are giving others a chance to enjoy the old home and occasional beautiful sunrises and or sunsets.

Granny's House was amazing. So relaxing and a great old country house feel.
Awesome owners with easy access to all things we needed . Great location to Ark and Creation Museum.

11 minutes from the Ark Encounter and 40 minutes from Creation Museum. A good value for the money. Home was very clean. Roomy bedrooms worked fine. Appliances were older but functional. The home has history and is over 130 years old! Enjoyed reading the articles and scripture posted around the house. The host was very welcoming and helpful.

Loved staying in this quiet charming home with a front porch perfect for watching the sunrise, a place for many to sleep and all the amenities we needed. Lawrence was available at check in and while we mainly slept there, we felt comfortable and calm there. I highly recommend!

The property is excellently maintained and in a nice quiet location. Communications with the property owner, Lawrence, were equally excellent. As a matter of fact, don't just rush in and rush out. Take some time and spend it connecting with Lawrence. He has some great stories and laughs. If I come down again to the Ark Encounter, I will make it a point to stay at this same locatoin.

We enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere of Granny’s House. This quaint older home is at the end of the street in a very quiet neighborhood. Beds were very comfortable and while we didn’t cook there, the kitchen was fully furnished.
We recommend Granny’s House to anyone planning to visit The Ark Encounter as it is only abt 10 minutes away. Conveniently located.

They were very outdated. We had to replace

The house itself was a lovely place to stay.

We were so blessed by finding and staying in Granny's house. It was everything that was described. The pricing is fair, the house and property are clean, the neighborhood is quiet. Having Lawrence on property was an added bonus. We enjoyed so much our chats over supper and afterwards in his shop.
If we ever plan a trip back to Dry Ridge we will stay there again.

For the most part we enjoyed everything about Granny’s house. The location was good and the house is very quaint. The only thing I would say they need to change would be to update the kitchen utensils and pans and utensil drawers need some cleaning inside of them. Other than that we truly had a great time

Very clean, very quiet. A great little getaway. Met up with a few friends we have played games with online for the past few years and went to see the Ark. Definitely recommend staying here if you get the chance.

The location was perfect. We visited Ark Encounter,Newport aquarium,Creation Museum, and Brad Brown Magician! Wonderful time and easy check up n check out! Loved Dry Ridge quaint town felt like home!

We appreciated the history of the home and all the space both inside and out. It's located in a quiet and peaceful location, only minutes from Ark Encounter. Unsafe, conditions and environment. Made a phone call to property manager to let her know we were having issues with the lock, and she never responded. Was being watched by neighbor across the street as we struggled with the lock the neighbor approached us from across the street and came up onto the porch without introducing herself and said “here, let me help you with the lock. I asked who are you?” and she said oh I’m just the neighbor across the street. I then asked why do you have the code to the house that I’m staying in if you’re not the property manager or not the owner. This is just one item of a litany of things that we are unhappy with. Will not stay here again and will not recommend it to anyone.

We stayed at 'Granny's House' while visiting the Ark Encounter. Perfect name for the house, as it truly felt like walking back in time. The story of the house and property was so interesting, and it was only a short drive to the ark. Beautiful sense of peace and love in that house.

This is a beautiful, older home in a quiet, nice neighborhood. The house is very well maintained and very clean. Very easy to be in contact with owner and property manager, although, we didn’t have any issues! Would definitely stay there again!

Staying at Granny’s house was a perfect choice for us. The property was very clean and well stocked with whatever you needed. The owners/management were very friendly and helpful. It is located in a nice area for evening walks. I would highly recommend Granny’s house for couples and families!

The home is just as shown in pictures.No surprise anywhere. Mr.. Lawrence and Ms. Anna are very kind, friendly folks.You may come in just a guest but you will leave having new extended family members. One thing if you prefer firm pillows, you might want to take your own. But it's so very peaceful you will not notice after a few minutes.

Absolutely a gem sitting on top a ridge, surrounded by beauty! Our family visited from South Georgia and loved staying at Granny’s house! Plenty of room to spread out and yet cozy enough to gather. The location is absolutely perfect. Two miles from plenty of restaurants and four miles from the Ark. I would recommend anyone visiting this area to stay here. We will definitely be back!
