First off, thank you Cool Stay Inn for such a good stay experience.
We booked a TWIN ROOM with Balcony and our room was in ROOM 22.. (always wanted to have a Balcony so we can dry wet clothes especially for an island destination trip on a budget)
What surprised me the most was seeing there's actually a whole kitchen set up in the room. There's a good working refrigerator, gas stove, gas (see pictures to see what I mean), utensils, plates, cooking stuff.. it you want to fry some eggs, there's a pan! If you want to cook soupy food, there's a pot! There's a pitcher if you want to make some juices! Knives.. everything!! We didn't expect to have a full kitchen in our room and as someone who travelled with her mom in her 60s, we would most often opt for places that allows us to cook because that's something my mom enjoys..
They do have a common kitchen btw so in case there are rooms with no kitchen, you can still cook (find photos attached in this review)
Funny thing is this hotel also has a mini convenience store. Want coffee? They sell coffee mix, they have all sorts of toiletries available for sale, snacks, canned goods, and most importantly, WATER! They sell big ones so you don't have to struggle carrying from a certain distance if you're buying elsewhere.. All of which are in standard Philippine prices (maybe just a 3-5 pesos markup because of course we know it's hard to source products especially it's an island that would need boats to carry products from the mainland to their island)..
The bathroom was also good. The water heater was working perfectly. We Always needed a hot bath after walking several kilometres at the island.
Bed was also good!
As for the distance, it's perfect for me who wants to be situated at the center of both ends.. I can easily go to the main beach or go to the back beach because our accomodation is situated just at the center of the belt of the island..
For the CONs which I actually just don't mind at all,
- no elevators... but we were assigned to a room on the 2nd floor so it wasn't tiring at all and I'm beyond happy to get a room right there..
- the towels were not really drying and I had read this up on a previous review hence why we also brought our own towels. It's still good to use to dry your hair but for the body, it doesn't absorb much water.
- no foot washer before we enter the hotel. Would've been nice to have so we don't unnecessarily bring beach sand into their property. I don't think they mind at all but as someone who is concerned about making sure they don't continuously sweep floors, I wish they have this made soon.

Very cheap accomodation, but therefor very clean and okay for what you get. you can use the pool area of the hostel next to it, which is nice. A lot of cool people in the hostels on the street. Easy to connect.
