Very friendly and helpful staff. We had uncomfortable pillows, and they replaced them the next day and even brought us two extra ones. We also had an issue with the shower drain, which was fixed while we were at the beach.
The room was clean and looked quite fresh, with a nice balcony. The breakfast selection is small, but enough for a quick breakfast, and the coffee was good.
The location is excellent — about 5 minutes to the beach and 15–20 minutes walking to the Old Town. There are also lots of cafés and restaurants nearby.
The mattress in room 203 definitely needs to be replaced. It was quite saggy and caused my husband back pain.
The washbasin is located in the room, opposite the bed. When booking, the photos showed the washbasin inside the bathroom, so this was a bit unexpected. The staff said the information on Booking.com was incorrect.
The shower area could also be improved, as water gets all over the bathroom floor. A shower door or a small barrier would help.
Housekeeping sometimes forgot to leave enough toilet paper, and I had to ask reception for more twice during our 5-day stay.
There is a kettle in the room, but no tea or coffee, and there was no complimentary water on arrival. Also, the water from the dispenser at breakfast wasn't very good.
Overall:
Despite these small issues, we had a comfortable stay. The staff were really kind and helpful, and the location is great. I would stay here again.

The hotel was in a great location and the renovated room was nice and comfortable overall. Breakfast was okay, and our stay was generally okay.
The reception service was quite average and could have been more informative and welcoming at check-in. We had to ask where breakfast was served, and the Wi-Fi information/code was not mentioned either. It would have been nice to receive the basic hotel information automatically upon arrival. The soundproofing could also be better, as you can clearly hear other guests coming and going and the doors closing plus one night had young neighbors partying the whole night. The cleaning or laundry detergent used in the room and bedding had an unpleasant smell rather than a fresh, clean scent. In addition, the silicone around the shower was visibly moldy and should be replaced.
