Rhodos Horizon Boutique-Adults only

The hotel is new, clean, and well-located for a vacation in Rhodes. I really appreciated the balcony and the capsule coffee machine in the room. The staff were generally friendly and helpful. But several flaws ruined the stay.

There were too many issues that ruined the experience. First, the light from the smoke detector right above the bed kept flashing directly into my eyes all night — it’s unbelievable who came up with this design, as it made it impossible to sleep. Second, the glass bathroom door was extremely thin, offering zero sound isolation, and there were no shelves in the shower for toiletries. Furthermore, I was denied an iron due to «safety reasons.» This is not a business hotel for business trips, but a holiday destination where people need to iron their vacation clothes. If safety is an issue, the hotel should provide garment steamers or a dedicated laundry room; forcing guests to use paid pressing services is unacceptable. The à la carte breakfast was also disappointing — very limited options, mostly just different types of eggs, sandwiches, and overly sweet pancakes. Finally, the kitchen is visible from the dining area, and !!! I noticed the staff wash dishes by hand instead of using a commercial dishwasher. Given the widespread stomach virus / norovirus outbreak currently affecting Rhodes, this lack of proper dish sanitation is a major hygiene risk. Unfortunately, we caught the virus on our final day, and while it was common on the island that time, the hotel’s poor washing standards certainly didn’t make us feel safe. While the hotel has its perks, the overall experience was far from pleasant. I would not recommend staying here.

The location is amazing but the staff are so friendly and helpful, I have stayed here twice and both times have been really nice, the gentleman that checked me in both times is an absolute superstar as is the Gym and Laundry staff, simply engaging and welcoming me more like an old friend then a guest. In saying this I found all the staff extremely professional but I mention these guys because I spent more time talking to them.

Nothing to note.

The early check in was very good and the update to a suite was marvellous. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We could also enjoy a late check out. The view was very nice and the location so close to the beach. Very clean, quiet and modern!

Location is perfect and having an apartment instead of one room is absolutely wonderful. We also had wonderful sea views from our room on the 6th floor.

I felt both the kitchenette and the bathroom could have been a little roomier even if they would take a little space from the bedroom and the living room as those are both very big rooms. Otherwise all ok.
