Maria was an excellent host...very friendly and helpful.
Area is absolutely perfect, for a stay in Rome. There's a real buzz about the place, with bars and restaurants all about you. Taxis are a 2 minute walk away, and it's a short distance to yhe city centre.
Everybody is very friendly and polite, and all seem to understand English. Also not as expensive, as I was expecting.
Room very comfortable.
Building a little tired, could do with a refurbishment. But that is also to be expected for the type of building, in a very old city plaza.
In all, I would recommend and I would stay here again.

Our stay at Tankara Suite was great and couldn’t fault it. The location is perfect and in the heart of Trastevere. Short walk to all the major sightseeing hotspots and in the best location for evening meals and drinks in the evening. Maria the host was amazing and even with a slight hiccup with the room ( out of the hosts control) she dealt with it swiftly and it had no effect on our short stay whatsoever. Couldn’t fault anything with our stay. We hope to come back!

The price was great, and it was nice being centrally located to walk around Trastavere and the areas around Rome that we wanted to see on our final night in Rome.
The room was advertised as having two beds, one of which was a sofa bed, but it was just a small armchair that pulled out, but was not big enough or comfortable enough for a person to sleep in. The room is directly next to a bustling square, and while I don't mind some noise during reasonable hours, I was awake at 3:45am because there were so many people out in the square talking and making noise.
