A very private lake vacation, only 2 rental cabins on the property each with its own beach area, beach chairs, fire pits, grill, outdoor area and parking. Your cabin comes with Weber grill, fire-pits & beach chairs. Assigned parking spot, Wi-Fi & cable TV. Walk to Beulah in minutes, short drive to Frankfort. Great pizza across the street! Close to everything. We are experienced hosts, dedicated to your Great Trip! Your cabin includes bath and bed linens, a fully equipped kitchen and your own beach space, 5 Kayaks with paddles and life vests, 12' rowboat, Swim Raft with your own beach chairs and fire pit. your own outdoor area with tables, chairs, grill and charcoal chimney starter. Brian was super nice to work with and a great host. A few waters in the fridge snacks on the table for us some coffee and tea too! Brian does the essentials but adds in a bunch of nice little extras. The space avaible in the unit was very well utalized ver well! Would definitely be back!

The use of your kayak was an added plus. Sitting on the beach chairs by the water late at night, seeing the stars, the Betsie Light and the sound of the waters of Crystal Lake was an unforgettable experience. We were very happy with our stay. The cabin is very small, but well kept with good amenities. VERY compfy beds, a nice shower head with hot water, everything in the kitchen worked well. Everything is marked very well as to where to park and what items you can use. It was cooler weather so we didn't end up using the beach really, but liked that it was included.
My biggest heads up for others looking to book this is 1. the space is very small, and I'm not sure I would have enjoyed it as much with more than 2 people in the cabin. The bedrooms are so cramped it is hard to find room for your suitcase. (I actually would have preferred a luggage rack over the closed door closet or dresser.) And 2. The owner lives on the property too. The aerial photo showing where the cabin is located is old, and between the cabin and the lake is the owner's house. His backyard is your cabin's front yard. You walk past his house, which overlooks the lake, to access the beach. The owner was very nice and helpful during our stay so we had no complaints, but I know not everyone wants to be staying right next to the owner, and that wasn't clear in the vrbo listing.

If able, add more lights in the kitchen and side lamps for the evening in the living room, wish there would have been a rake available rake up some of the debris that washed ashore. Otherwise, loved the beach and floating platform

Our family had an amazing time! Great cabin, location. Beach access was perfect for little kids and dive raft was a bit hit! Brian did a fantastic job checking in and was there for questions. Our family highly recommends!

Family Getaway at Crystal Lake
We had a great stay in this cozy cabin a stones throw from Crystal Lake. We really enjoyed that there were many activities right on the property from kayaking and the row boat to games in the shed. Fire pits on the beach and outside the cabin with wood provided was a nice touch. Overall had a wonderful time with friendly host nearby.

We stayed in one of the small cabins which are right on crystal lake.
The cabin is very small, but totally fine for a family of 3-5. The cabin we stayed in has a loft with mattresses with kids can sleep ( may be hot up there though)
although the cabin is small, the design is set up so that there is plenty of room for everything. Cubbies, nooks, hooks, shelves everywhere. I'm a heavy packer and always bring more stuff than I need and I found a place for all of it.
The cabin is clean and updated. The owners are extremely accommodating and friendly. The owners sometimes stay in the larger house in the front facing the lake. There are two other small cabins behind it that they rent out. There is also a family who owns other small cabins next door who were there. They had an 8 year old son who became instant friends with my 8 year old son. They fished and played and had a blast together the whole time. The cabin behind us was rented out the same week by a family of four. they had two kids my son's age and they also became instant friends and played together the whole week. They are now becoming penpals. We got along great with the parents and had some fun hanging in front of the fire by the lake each night. If you are looking for a private cabin with no distractions or other people, this probably isnt for you, but if you are looking for family fun, its perfect. it had sort of a communal feel which was perfect for us.
There was also plenty of opportunities for privacy.
The lake is beautiful. We watched the sunset every night sitting from our area on the beach. they had a row boat, kayaks and tubes to bring out on the lake.
there really wasnt anything they didnt have that we needed. The cabins are stocked with everything you really need.
The cabin is close to all the sites. we didnt really have to drive too far to find fun things to do outside our little area. There is a marina nearby where we rented a pontoon boat.
I highly recommend this rental. We had.a great family vacation.

Swim, boat, bike, jog, fun!
My family of four with younger children had a wonderful time here! The beach was perfect for swimming, kayaking to the nearby park, and fishing with the provided kayaks and rowboat. The provided grill allowed us to cook dinner a few nights, and the nearby restaurants provided dinner the other nights. I went jogging a few days on the nearby Trail, we also rode our bikes on the trail. My children slept every night in The Loft and loved it. Fully stocked kitchen, great shower head pressure LOL, and comfy bed all made for a great stay as well. The hosts were so kind and accommodating, and provided much of what we needed to enjoy a vacation without us having to pack it ourselves. Also a short drive to nearby Glen Arbor, Frankfort, and the Platte River gave us even more fun on our vacation. Got a good Sunset the last day we were here too. Thank you for a great vacation!

This property was just simply amazing. Having never been to this wonderful town it was an amazing experience. The cabin was just perfect. The hosts were very nice and quick to answer any questions about the area and cabin needs for guests. Will definitely be coming back.

Amazing cozy cabin on the best lake!
We had an amazing stay-it really couldn't have been better! The cabin was super clean, warm, fully stocked with everything we needed (we had all the pans and tools we needed to make pancakes, pasta, and steamed veggies easily), and the beds were really comfortable! Brian was a wonderful host and made sure we had everything we needed to have a great stay with our kids! He and Meg are SO kind and thoughtful and we couldn't have asked for a better set up. If you aren't familiar with Crystal Lake, it is a beautiful, clear, sand bottom lake-even in March, and the beach is only steps away from this cabin! We sat on the beach while the kids played in the sand (with the borrowed sand toys, as we forgot ours-thank you!!), grilled a couple of times, walked to Papanos for pizza, and had a fire pit out in front of the cabin one night while we had a picturesque view of the water. We also walked into Beulah to sit outside at Five Shores (highly recommend)! The cabin is close to Frankfort, Crystal Mountain, and only about an hour from our favorite wineries in Traverse City. We will certainly be back in summer AND winter!

So close to downtown Beulah, a very short drive to Frankfort, and close to so many winter outdoor activities (hiking/snowshoeing/sledding). We would definitely say here again!

Great spot, nice little cabin
Hosts were very prompt and helpful with communications. Loved the location with lake view and small stretch of private beach. They provided all kinds of extras - from snacks and water to a firepit with firewood to access to bikes and paddle boards (which we didn't use since it's November, but still).
