Sanibel Island has sand so fine that it feels like flour between your toes and boasts some of the best shelling in the world.. It is very tropical, non-commercial, clean, friendly and has a huge appreciation of wildlife and the arts .and is a frequent vacation destination for Europeans. You can enjoy the island using over 25 miles of bike paths using the 4 adult bikes with helmets which are in a bike rack right outside the front door for your use and convenience. It has good fishing, boating and many delicious restaurants on the Island. Great relaxing destination from the big city life. Loggerhead Cay # 151 is a ground floor, Gulf front condo just steps to the beach. The complex prides itself with its beautiful landscaping and is located at the east end of the island, about a mile walk on the beach from the fishing pier and the Sanibel lighthouse. I have 4 adult bikes with helmets in a bike rack right outside the front door. The condo has Showtime movie and Turner Classics movie channels that also includes additional sports channels. The condo has the "blast" high speed internet package with a speed of 250 + Mbps. The condo has plenty of Tommy Bahama beach chairs, beach umbrellas, beach towels, a cooler and a cart to bring everything to the beach, sand toys and fishing poles. It is within easy driving distance to excellent restaurants, recreational activities and shopping. Loggerhead Cay is ideal for families with children, as it offers many entertaining activities for children, such as: large heated swimming pool, tennis courts/pickle ball, shuffle board courts and a recreation facility complete with kitchen and B-B-Q gas grills. The facility can be reserved at the Loggerhead Cay office for large group get togethers such as family reunions.. Every Sunday your family can enjoy the local farmers market. There are two public golf courses. You can also tour the Ding Darling National Wildlife Sanctuary. As you enter the condominium, you experience the spacious open kitchen, dining room and living area that has been completely remodeled and furnished with island appeal. Guests enjoy an unobstructed view of the Gulf of Mexico. The condominium has two bedrooms, large closets and two full bathrooms. It has a king sized bed in the master bedroom and, two twin beds in the second bedroom and and a queen sized hide-a-bed with an extra thick 8 inch mattress. The condo sleeps 6 comfortably.. The master bedroom and living areas face the Gulf of Mexico where you can hear the sounds of the surf and enjoy the beautiful views of sunrises and sunsets over the Gulf of Mexico. For your convenience, we have 4 adult bikes with helmets/bike locks, HDTV, DVD Blue Ray, and high-speed internet/WiFi at no cost to you. We all love our pets, so we welcome your pet with a $250 non-refundable pet fee. Pets are restricted to 25lbs or less. I spent over $250,000 to completely remodel my gulf front two bedroom condo post hurricane Ian,. All of the beds, lanai, living room and dining room furniture are new, The kitchen is well equipped with a Keurig and regular coffee maker, crock pot and blender etc. The cloths washer and dryer, kitchen appliances, kitchen cabinets/countertops and pots/pans, plates/glasses/silverware and all kitchen furnishings are brand new. The heating/air conditioning system, electrical, plumbing and tile planks that look like hard wood floors are all new. All of the windows and sliding glass doors have been replaced with new high impact hurricane glass.. The condo is freshly painted. There is a new 65 inch flat screen TV in the living room and a new 45 inch flat screen TV in the guest bedroom. I invite you to vacation at my brand new home away from home.

The Unit has been totally redone since Ian. It is absolutely the nicest Unit I have ever rented on Sanibel, we have been coming to the Island every Christmas for 45 years. The owner was very responsive. The Unit has a fantastic view, well equipped with everything you need from the kitchen, beach chairs, towels, toys to bikes and helmets. The property Loggerhead Cay still has a lot of construction going on, the whole Island does. I was very fortunate this Unit was available to rent, so few places were ready for occupancy after Ian. Very relaxing beach, steps from the Unit. Furnishings were top notch. Family enjoyed every minute of the stay. Full 180 degree of the gulf from the convince of the Unit. 5 star Unit don’t hesitate to stay in 151 you will be very happy!

This was our second trip to Sanibel. We loved the property so much last year we specifically came during a week when we could stay at this condo. Jim is a wonderful property owner to work with and follows up within 24 hours of you arriving to see if you have concerns. He also has wonderful recommendations about places to visit and restaurants. The fan was not working on the Lanai when we arrived and Jim addressed it immediately. This location is close to everything. The first floor location is convenient to both the beach and the pool. The condo has some new beach chairs since last year. Jim provides beach chairs, umbrellas, towels, and a wagon to carry it all in. Jim also provides 4 bikes although we didn’t use them this year. The kitchen is well stocked if you want to make your own meals.

We had a great time during our stay in this unit. It was a comfortable property that provided the convenience of easy access to the beach and pool. We truly enjoyed the amenities the property provided. What was best was the owners kind hospitality. We hope to be back next year.

We have visited Sanibel many times and this was our first stay in this unit. The proximity to the beach is perfect and the view from the kitchen is a plus - you can watch the clouds turn colors and know exactly when to run up for photos! The unit is well stocked with all the beach supplies you need and the wagon was very handy. The kitchen has many pots and pans and dishes to cook in and the bonus is a nice selection of wine glasses. The washer and dryer are very handy and there is plenty of towels for showering and to bring up to the pool or beach. The master bedroom has a very comfortable bed and the bathrooms are both nicely redone - the master could use a darkening curtain unless you like to be up with the sunrise in the morning! The floors are so easy to keep clean from sand - being tile and not carpet which we love. The host was very accommodating and had someone bring me a broom so I could keep the floors clean. :) We can't wait to return to this exact rental again next summer!
