The breakfast was good but I was not sure if it was included so I asked the chef and he said it was free. The front desk said it was not free to pay when you walked in. There were enough towels for the weekend stay !The windows opened for letting in fresh lake view air. Staff was friendly. Nice porches overlooking the lake. The Lambuth is the highest point on the lake so the walk from there around the lake was incredible. The little shops were fun but the pool is really special out on the lake.
The toilet in room was slow to flush . It took 2-3 times to flush properly. The checkout was slow . The bathroom was so small the door opened inside covering up half of the sink front. So you had to move to the side to use the sink. Carpets throughout needed to be gone. Old and worn out.

The lake was pretty
We had no idea that this is a religious retreat. The place was packed with kids at some camp. Our room was not a nice hotel room but more like a dorm room. We got no housekeeping while we were there, why? We paid $250 a night for a camp room like a little kid? The rooms are super small, and very dated. The lobby smells like an old persons home or a nursing home. We had a view of the back of the hotel. Not a lake view….i guess those were reserved for campers? No food at the hotel either.
