Right next to a grocery store. Extra pillows, blankets, and mattress topper available. Very clean washrooms.
No comfy lounge sofas in the shared area. Questionable air circulation in the sleeping areas, especially when someone is coughing all night.

For the price, it honestly felt like a luxurious experience. Everything was incredibly clean, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. There were also free snacks, tea, and coffee. I didn’t have time to use it, but there was even a spa! I enjoyed it a lot and definitely recommend it to anyone who goes to Kyoto.

Close to a grocery store and the bus line, in a quiet area. Check in was simple and easy. Staff was able to speak English. I like the larger room to be able to store my bag and have a small table to do some work. The common area is nice, but I do not like the configuration. The public bath was small, but I do enjoy the area after a long day of walking around the city. I like that in the common area there is free goodies such as coffee, snacks, and yogurt drinks.
A bit far away from the central tourist area of Kyoto. The aircon in the room was running, but I still sometimes felt hot at night. Not close to a subway line.
