About this house rental
Located in Lakeland, this lovely house for $148 per night is a great choice for your next break. *As seen in the film "Christmas Lovers Anonymous" (released November 2021)* Welcome home to this fully renovated vacation rental in downtown Hudson, WI. This immaculate home is just blocks from the St. Croix River, and the fun shops and restaurants in historic downtown Hudson. This home was remodeled specifically to host traveler. Every effort has been made to provide guests with the comforts of home. Check out my other 5-Star Hudson property on River Street! Comfortable new beds (1 king, 2 queens), wifi throughout the home, printer/scanner available, charming 3 season porch, fully stocked kitchen with fresh ground coffee included. Large high-definition televisions in the living room and both bedrooms. This home also boasts an outdoor combo gas/charcoal grill, fire pit, and patio furniture. Guest have access to a washer and dryer as well as a garage spot (upon request). I always provide my phone number to guests and make myself available as much as possible. I host on VRBO because I genuinely enjoy meeting new people. I am from Hudson and am happy to provide recommendations for anything in the St. Croix River Valley, all you have to do is ask! This is a quiet, family friendly neighborhood. The home is very close to the lively Hudson nightlife bars, but far enough away that it is quiet at night. Our weekend getaway was amazing. This VRBO was one of the best we have ever stayed at, hands down. If you want to go to a home that has EVERYTHING you need, this is it. From the time we arrived to the time we left, we were comfortable, happy, relaxed, and felt that we had found the best place in Hudson. Thank you, Matthew! If we are ever back in the area, you can bet we will be staying at your beautiful place.

We spent Thanksgiving weekend here and had a wonderful time. The place was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. The location is perfect and walkable to downtown Hudson. We have already booked again for Easter

We were visiting Hudson for a girls weekend. The house was cute and perfect for us. We loved how cozy it was plus being so close to everything! Would highly recommend staying here and have a feeling we will be back!

We have stayed in several rental properties over the years, but none compare to this one for cleanliness and attention to detail. Every corner of this home was tended to with care. We enjoyed the location as it was close to several restaurants and shops in downtown Hudson. The home was comfortable and cozy.

This house is a perfect get away! We were so impressed by how clean and organized everything was! The beds are really comfortable and the house is well stocked for all of your needs! The coffee was delicious and our daughter loved the tea choices. We bought some local honey that was delicious with the teas. We had a blast, there is so much to do in this area. The owner had great communication and great recommendations for restaurants and activities. We will be back!

We were impressed with every inch of this beautifully appointed home! It had absolutely everything you could need. And being able to walk to all of the shops and restaurants was such a bonus!! We will be back!!

This is the second time we have stayed over the years. Excellent host! The house is always clean. We love the modern decor and the host goes above and beyond. It’s a short 5 minute walk to town which is easy for the younger kids. We are also a short 5 minute drive from the grandparents. Win win!

This was the perfect stay for our girls weekend! It was walking distance to the river and Hudson’s Main Street, and just a short driving distance to downtown Stillwater. We had all the amenities we needed and especially loved sitting on the screened-in patio for coffee and breakfast. There’s a beautiful yard to hang out in, but we spent most of our time out and about. Communication with Matt couldn’t have been any better. Highly recommend!

Small but very nice 2BR home about three blocks up the hill from Hudson's main commercial district. Both BR's are spacious, comfortable and modern. Close enough to walk, easy access to highway but very quiet. Owner communications were great. Would love to come back during a warmer season!

First VRBO rental for us was impressive experience. Property was clean and well maintained while retaining character and charm of its history and use in a film. Owner was friendly and responsive. LOL: Maid was too thorough and removed checkin instructions but owner was responsive and friendly about it and got it to us quickly. Write up talks about “just leave the mess” but it is a shoes off deal with lots of reminders to keep things nice. I prefer the latter reality but prolly should have brought slippers because there was a heavy snowfall for our January rental. Wife and teen twin boys loved it, too. Highly recommended and can’t wait to return for a longer stay.

We very much enjoyed this house for our girls weekend in Hudson. The locations is great, close to downtown restaurants, shops, and bars. Well stocked and spacious for 5 of us. Check in and out was seamless.

This house has so much character and charm! We loved our stay here and the location was fabulous. We were able to walk to shopping and restaurants easily! We even watched a little of the Christmas movie filmed there which was fun to see. Would definitely stay here again!

We absolutely loved our stay at this home. Three block walk to downtown, yet in a quiet neighborhood. Every single room and space has art/amazing decor. Bathrooms are huge and stocked with everything, same with the kitchen. Fantastic communication with the host. Next time we hope to be able to stay longer. Thank you Matthew for the fun, relaxing time!

Great property! Very clean, comfortable, well stocked with everything we needed. Location was great as it was easy to get to and within walking distance to downtown. Matthew communicated check-in and check-out procedures very well and had we needed anything more I feel he would have been easy to get in touch with. Too bad the weekend went by so quickly! This house could not have been more perfect for my girlfriends and I to spend a long weekend. We walked to some great restaurants in Hudson. Communication and check in process was super easy. You will not be disappointed in the vacation home! Raspberry bushes in the yard was an added bonus!

We loved this property! Beautifully decorated and super comfortable. The extra touches (coffee, mints, makeup removers, etc) put it over the top! Wish we would have had one more day.
