Wow. Exceptional, private location. Buckets of amenities. Sparkling clean, spacious, homey and had all the kitchen stuff we needed. Took advantage of the kayaks, baby gear, hot tub, crabbing and local (walkable) eateries. Honestly one of the best coastal we’ve stayed at on the Oregon coast and trust me we’ve stayed at many as we live in Oregon. Perfect for our family with a baby, toddler, adults and seniors. Cannot wait to go back.

We stayed for five nights as a break during a month-long camping trip and it was a wonderful experience. I reached out prior to booking to confirm that our camper could be parked in the driveway during our stay and the property manager's communication was prompt and professional (if you are considering the same request, the city allowed our camper in the driveway as long as no one was staying in it and it wasn't hooked up). Overall, communications were excellent. The property itself is very charming and exactly what we expected from the listing, and even a bit larger than expected. This is the first VRBO we've stayed in that has been up to my cleaning standards, including the kitchen cabinets and knobs, around faucets, around the trash can -- all of those places that quickly accumulate gunk were clean and sparkling.
The cottage is exceptionally well stocked, with everything you need and none of the junk that accumulates in drawers and cupboards at so many VRBOs. We had our two dogs with us and other dog owners will know that there is a marked difference between "dog friendly" and "dog tolerant" -- this property is absolutely dog friendly! There is an antique wash kettle right inside the front door that has stainless steel bowls and old towels for the furballs.
We had direct access to the beach, as expected, and beach walks at sunset were a highlight of our stay. Overall, a wonderful experience!

Had a great little vacation with the family. Property owners really nice and quick to respond. Place was clean and it has a view that’s so amazing wish we could have stayed longer. Plenty of things for the kids to do as well. We will definitely be back!

The house is very comfortable and accommodates a large family group. The setting is spectacular and very relaxing, great for walking the beach. We enjoyed all of the extra amenities like ping pong and the kayaks and the fire pit. We could have used more light in the living room for reading. We hated to leave because the place is so beautiful and comfortable.

Stayed for a long holiday weekend with my almost-2 year old, my husband, and three grandparents. The house really is RIGHT on the beach, with a gorgeous view and a few easy steps to sand or water depending on the time of day. The house was perfectly clean, provided not only some essentials like a pack-n-play and highchair, but has a garage packed with fun extras. There were plenty of beach todays for kids, a ping pong table we made great use of during a rainy afternoon. The hosts were very communicative, but know there are definitely several requests of guests for the check out process and clean up. Nothing unreasonable at all, but if you're looking for a hotel-like experience, this isn't it. Personally, I loved it and am hoping to come back.

We had an amazing time at the property and really enjoyed the beach, privacy and views. The kitchen was very well equipped for a home cook. Slight negative (but not a deal-breaker) ... some of the indoor furniture and top deck chairs weren't very comfortable especially for my 75 and 80 yr old parents, lots of hard edges. But the beds were super comfortable, the hot tub was perfect, and our dog had the time of his life coming and going from the beach to the back patio. The kids didn't want to leave. I'd recommend some more cushy seating next to the windows so that the amazing view can be enjoyed when the weather is bad. Luckily we had great weather and were outside most of the time. Will definitely return!!! Thank you!

We wanted to spend a few nights on an Oregon beach and this place was perfect. The estuary was beautiful and the fact you could walk to the coastline through the estuary was just very unique. The place was very clean and just as advertised. Loved it.

Ocean Breeze is a wonderful home base while visiting this lovely area. The location is situated between Cannon Beach and Astoria with an easy drive to each. The home was very clean upon arrival and supplied well. The views are to die for!

The house and property offer privacy and convenient access to all things. The kitchen includes everything you could possibly need. The home is clean and well appointed. If you’re on the fence for some reason, don’t be! It’s wonderful. We will be back!

This house was exactly what our family needed for the end of our trip. The house was very clean and exactly as described. The location was perfect and the views were amazing. It had everything we needed and more. The house was very clean. We enjoyed the corn hole set, ping pong table and kayaks. It was a perfect place to read, sit in the quiet and recharge. This was our first time in Oregon and this place has us wanting to come back.

This was our 2nd stay at Ocean Breeze and hopefully not our last. The place is pretty much perfect. Quaint town, quiet setting, lovely beach and beautiful walks. The kitchen is very well equipped, the beds absolutely comfortable and the house sparkling clean. We were there with friends and family and had the best time playing outside on the expanse of sand, walking the dogs on the beach and roasting marshmallows while the sun set. The teenagers braved the ocean for a swim (in May!) and were only to happy to rinse off and then hop in the hot tub to warm up.
Malia and Arnold are great hosts, making sure everything is just right for their guests. We also grilled on the deck, had a ping pong tournament in the garage and rode the bikes through town. Everything you could possibly want is there for you, even marshmallow roasting sticks. Such a fun get away spot! We can't wait to return.

We absolutely loved our stay! Our group included a three generation family, some based in Portland, some who flew from the Midwest, ages 6 to 70, and this house and location was enjoyed by all. Immediately upon arrival we marveled at the view, and found the house immaculately clean. Beds were comfortable, there were plenty of towels, and the kitchen was well stocked in terms of appliances and utensils. Communication with the owner was always quick and easy. Thank you for hosting us and allowing us to make some wonderful memories in your home.

My husband and I along with our 15 year old son and his friend rented this house for a week. Our cousin from Bend also drove over and joined us for a few nights. This house was perfect!! The location, the amenities, the cleanliness, all of it above par. The fact that the teenagers never once said “I’m bored” speaks volumes. The house was even better than the listing. I just can’t say enough great things. We loved the fireplaces, the Kayak’s, the downstairs area for the boys. Oh and the beds were a dream to sleep in. So comfy!!

We had a great stay in ocean breeze! When we go to the Oregon coast we always book an ocean front property, this was definitely one of our favorites! Set in front of an estuary, but close enough to see the waves crashing on the beach. The views from the property are amazing, we were even able to see a herd of elk wandering through the estuary. House was spotless, kitchen was fully stocked, along with tons of puzzles, games, ping pong & foseball. Bikes with helmets, beach toys and even kayaks were available at the property. I think my personal favorite part was enjoying the views from the hot tub and making s’mores in the fire pit! There is direct access to the beach from the property. House is beautifully decorated and the furniture is comfortable, the only drawback is there are no en-suite bathrooms. Owners were responsive, helpful, 10/10 would stay again!

The house is tired. It shows much better in the pictures than in real life. In real life the rooms are dark (we moved lamps around to add light to various rooms). The house has no protection from the elements and during the storm that occurred when we were there, the house was so noisy we could not sleep for two nights, the windows and doors leaked air and water and a major gutter came loose during our stay and threated damage to persons and property, as well as keeping us up one night. Further, the shower in the upstairs bathroom is nothing more than a trickle, there is rust in the shower and one of the bathroom sink taps did not work at all. In short, our take away is that the house is not worth what is being charged (at least not in the portion of the winter when the nightly rate is high). We have stayed at quite a few VRBOs and we are happy to pay for a quality house. This house was not even close to the quality we expected and we would not stay at this property again. The property managers were, to their credit, generally responsive when issues arose (other than the shower issues which were never addressed) and told us that they are proud of the house. That is not the word that we would use to describe the house. We were very disappointed with the quality of the house particularly given what we paid for our stay,

I wanted a place where I could visit with my family, who live in the area, and who are working, and I could provide a home-cooked meal for them after their work day. House is really nice, beautiful view, it was very big… It was cold when we arrived, it took some time to warm up, and when I did, it was cozy. The first night was cold. That was really the only downfall, but other than that it was perfect and clean and beautiful. The owners are really nice, they put a Christmas tree up, which I wasn’t expecting but was very pleasant.

8 people, 2 dogs, a ton of cooking, beach walking, game playing. We could not have been happier in this lovely beachfront (creek front?) home over Thanksgiving weekend. The view is off the hook. Gas fireplaces are clutch for ambiance. Comfy beds, spacious kitchen, etc etc. This house was super clean and Malia was a pleasure to work with. Would return in a hot minute.
