Best host in Ischia

Thank you Armando for being the best host one can ask for. It's actually you, as the host, who made all the difference. Being picked up from the ferry and brought back was really very convenient. Also,... providing the booked scooter right at the hotel was great. Give my regards to your wife for the best carrot cake ever.

I think the blankets were a bit thin,... obviously it was rather cold when we stayed. The air-condition was a must and did the job.

Exceptional

The B&B was perfect, and Armando and his family were the loveliest people you could meet. Nothing was too much to ask, and they also went out of their way to make our stay amazing by organising a taxi when we arrived at the port. The views of our room were also spectacular......wow!! I would definitely recommend this as a place to stay when in Ischia.

Great view and service!

Armando, his wife and family have been extremely sweet and helpful. They have recommended some great places to eat, helped with acquiring transport and have taken time to talk to us and make us feel welcome. The rooms are clean, the view is amazing and they have a beautiful garden where they even offered us homemade limoncello and watermelon!! Big thanks to the entire family - would definitely return if we went to Ischia again 🇩🇰

Excellent place

This b&b is a hidden gem in the beautiful island of Ischia. A perfect place to relax and enjoy the beauty of the island through its beautiful view. The owner, Armando and his wife are very accommodating and ready to meet any requests. They helped us with any shuttle services that were needed. The rooms were super clean along with the whole villa. The cherry on top of the cake was the breakfast with the homemade goodies. No doubt I would choose this place if I ever go back! 😀🇨🇦

Best place on the island

With great view of the sea, rooms facing a beautiful well maintained garden this place is perfect. The owner helped us with scooter rentals, finding best seaside restaurants, best beaches and even a little jazz club for a night out!

Our stay was absolutely Amazing 😍

Me and my partner had a wonderful experience at this beautiful Villa! The host, Armondo, was very polite when we arrived. We are American and did not know that we had booked with Italian speaking language only. Armondo spoke good enough English for us to understand, but we decided to communicate with google translate too. Armondo was outstanding with his service. During our visit, the family made us feel comfortable and felt at home. We had an Italian breakfast every morning with so many kinds of delicious pastries and coffees! The room was very clean and the views from the balconies were absolutely amazing! The beauty of this Villa was so tranquil and relaxing! Armondo was there answer all my questions and he was very reliable. Central Forio port is very close to explore. There is even a restaurant about 10 minute walk from the villa called Al Vecchio, it has the most delicious food especially the Ischian Rabbit 😋. Armondo gave us a ride a few times to places we wanted to visit and picked us up from the restaurant after we drank too much wine lol. He even drove us to the Casamicciola Port on the last day to catch our ferry. Overall, I would 100% recommend Villa Antonietta to anyone visiting this area. Thank you again for welcoming us into your home, we will definitely be coming back! 🇺🇸

Tourist trap

the owner kindly offered to pick us up from the bus stop. From the photos it seemed to be a new bnb and the fact that it wasn’t close to the centre didn’t matter because we had organised transport.

You can tell it’s been recently opened because there are a few things missing and to be adjusted. Per se the bnb should be rated a 6.5/7, but what makes your stay unpleasant is the fact they are so unprofessional. Be prepared for the owners family gatherings (dinner, with shouting singing, you name it) on the terrace until 1am (really great when you have to wake up at 6 to get a ferry). The villa is their holiday house, but they don’t consider the fact that they pay for it through the rooms they rent out and perhaps it would be appropriate to be more considerate. But the real reason this review has such a low number is the fact that they tried to make us pay twice, argued about it on WhatsApp (professional much?), accused us of lying and asked us to send proof. The booking at been paid in advance at least 2 months before via PayPal through booking. I would suggest to the owner to check first with booking.com if he doubts that a guest has paid before throwing around accusations. Also matters like that should be sorted out face to face not on WhatsApp, we aren’t at school.

Exceptional

We had a wonderful time at Villa Antonietta - the room was clean and comfortable with a beautiful garden to sit in during the evening. Breakfast on the terrace was delicious and made even better by the amazing view of the island. Armando and his family made us feel at home in Ischia and helped us find the best things to do during our stay and gave us amazing recommendations to ensure that our trip was unforgettable. I would highly recommend a stay here!
