Literally on the beach. Located in Bayshore, 15 minutes from Newport on a 7 mile long beach, this well appointed home will provide the perfect setting to relaxing and enjoying your time away. There are literally views from every room, every window. Looking out the front you have a great view of the Alsea Bay and the Alsea Bay Bridge. There are two separate living areas, the bayside room is set up for kids with Foosball, pool, air hockey, and ping pong. Additionally there are numerous board games and a 55" TV for gaming or watching TV, a perfect setup to allow kids and young adults time to play and enjoy. In the oceanside living room you will enjoy unobstructed views of the Pacific Ocean with very comfortable furniture and large windows for your viewing pleasure, a perfect setup for adulting while the kids enjoy themselves in the gameroom. There is fantastic crabbing in the bay and clams on the beach, great fishing as well. Local attractions are The Oregon Coast Aquarium, The Sea Lion Caves, local shops, Newport Marina, local golf, convenient shopping(a short drive), and so much more. The advertised rate covers the first 8 guests, each additional guest will add $10.00 per day, up to a total of 11. This helps cover additional utilities, supplies, and cleaning.

We’ve stayed here multiple times over New Year’s Eve. It’s such a great house for us and we absolutely love the location. A very short walk to the beach, a great game room for the kids, a very large table for eating and games, wonderful living room with lots of comfortable seating, and a great kitchen!

Our family loved staying at this home for a week. It is on a long sandy beach with direct, flat access right out the back door and spectacular views of the beach, waves, and bay bridge from both the first and second floors. The super clean house has great separation of space with a fun game room. The kitchen comes with not 1 but 3 coffee makers (drip, espresso, and Keurig-- with a starter supply of pods)! We appreciated the information on local Waldport restaurants, shops, and tips for tourist sites on the coast. The owner is a timely, clear communicator. We will definitely stay here again!

I took my 95 year old mom to the ocean for a reunion with my three siblings. The home is so nice with the ocean just steps away. With help, mom was able to navigate over looser sand to the long flat stretch of beach. We loved the home and beautiful view. We hope to be back the same time next year.

We loved the property and house. The weather was really windy and rainy but we made the most of it. The game room came in handy with the kids, since we couldn't spend much time on the beach

My husband, brother and I meet on the coast once a year and pick a new location each time. This location was so good we want to go back! Expansive stretch of beach, plently of things to do north and south along the coast and good food nearby. House itself was perfectly appointed.

This was our yearly family trip. We had 3 families with kiddos…such a perfect house!! Sand right out the back door. Ocean a short walk away. The house is beautiful with everything you need and more!! With five bedrooms, a large kitchen/family room, and a fun-filled game room, the house spaciously accommodated six adults and four children. Stepping out the back door your feet land immediately on the soft sand and it’s but a quick walk to the ocean waves. Nearby are great trails with spectacular vistas (Cape Perpetua) and don’t miss Devil’s Churn!

The beach north of the mouth of the Alsea River is so beautiful! We love the house! It has great views, a good kitchen and dining area, plenty of space for everyone, and the games in the bonus room make it a fun place to for teens even when the weather isn't great.

This is property is very comfortable, clean, nicely decorated and well stocked. The grandkids especially loved the game room and we all loved being right at the beach directly out the back door of the house. A great place to stay!

We were on the beach with beachfront but there were no distinguishing entrance to the property from the beach and impossible to see the house from the beach. The beach was about a block away over a dune, so dunes blocked all vision of the house. It was also impossible to park as the house was on a dune .

We had elderly, adults and teens all gather for a 60th birthday party. Friends rented houses nearby. We had a fabulous shrimp boil, Bocci ball and bonfires. It was fabulous. Well stocked kitchen. Great game room and plenty of space for a gathering. Not a single hitch to the weekend except the neighbor across the street is crazy. Even the Sheriff rolls his eyes. But there are angry people everywhere. You just gotta roll with it.

Amazing house and location for our family of ten to be together. Everyone had a bed and bedroom, large kitchen/family area for hanging out and the game room was a huge hit with the little kids. The game room is separate and with the door closed, it was so easy to visit and enjoy the family area without the gaming noise. Beach access is right out the back door. Had a little snafu for checking in but the maintenance guy promptly showed up and got the house cleaned and ready for us to use.

This house was exactly what we needed for our family getaway. It was very clean and welcoming. Lots of space, well-outfitted, the kids LOVED the game room, beautiful views and even our dog was welcome. Be prepared for lots of sand, and a bit of a steep driveway, but that's what puts you on the bluff above the beach! We can't wait to come back in the summer.

Great house right on the beach. We enjoyed the play room and kitchen was well equipped. The little rumba scared my mother-in-law the first night but made for a fun family story the next morning. Nice to have with the sand blowing in due to horrible weather.

We had a great time at John’s beach house! This is probably the cleanest vacation rental home I’ve stayed at. The kitchen was well equipped for our holiday cooking, the space accommodated our family well, and even the adults had a blast playing pool in the game room. The view and location on the beach can’t be beat, just be prepared for all the sand as soon as you step outside!

There were 9 of us all 74 to 79-(5 were high school friends, 4 couples and 1 single person). We did 4 jigsaw puzzles during the week, play a game, watched football games and walked our dogs on the beach. There was too much loose sand for 2 to get to the beach. We had fun getting to spend time together. The weather was perfect. We shared cooking and clean-up chores.
The steps were a concern as it would have been easy to miss the step when opening the door and not letting the dogs out.
We had a great time, thank you for a great place to stay.

This is a lovely home and has perfect view of ocean. Just a minute down to the beach. Great for kids as there’s a bedroom with bunk beds and also a separate game room. The owner was very responsive and helpful. We hope to return a third time next year. Cathy
