CRC 2204 - Second Floor Ocean, Pool and Spa View Condo
About this condo rental
Located in Butler Beach, this lovely condo for $327 per night is a great choice for your next break. With an amazing ocean and pool view from your own private balcony, this second floor condo is the perfect beach getaway. With a beachy theme throughout, this adorable condo will quickly become your home away from home. The spacious living room has ample seating for families of all sizes and the dining room comfortably seats 6. The fully equipped kitchen comes with everything you need for a stay of any length and comes with a full sized washer and dryer and a drip coffee pot. The primary bedroom has a king size bed and a newly renovated private master bathroom as of 2019. There is a queen and a full bed in the second bedroom and two twin beds in the smaller third bedroom also known as the “Crow’s Nest,” and the second bathroom was also beautifully renovated in 2019. Please note: the owner of this condo is severely allergic to pet dander so this condo cannot accommodate service animals of any kind. However, we have many other condos that do accommodate service animals here at Colony Reef Club. All the condos are equipped with private WIFI and have TVs in the living room, master bedroom, and second bedroom. We provide initial toilet paper, trash bags, soap, and dishwasher powder. Guests are advised to bring supplementary items if needed. Take advantage of the recreational opportunities of this private gated community, including a large oceanfront pool, children's playground, two tennis courts with pickleball court lines, and a basketball hoop. Our indoor amenities include a heated pool, sauna, racquet ball court, and fitness center. Due to COVID-19 please be advised Colony Reef Club does not guarantee health, safety and welfare and that use of common areas and facilities is at your own risk.

When we arrived we had to call for a maintenance worker to fix a slow drain. The front office responded and the problem was taken care of quickly. We enjoyed being there so much! We had to buy shower cleaner and clean the shower before using it. Overall, we are happy with our stay. For 6 days we paid more than 400$ per day including taxes and fees. I believe the last time we came it was closer to 300$ per day.

The location was excellent! The unit itself needs updating and a few repairs. It also needs a deep cleaning. We left it cleaner than when we arrived. The pool was very nice and clean, as well as the surrounding grounds. The proximity to the ocean, local businesses and downtown St. Augustine was very convenient. Checking in and checking out was very simple. We had a wonderful time. The price was right for off season rental, but if it were more, I would not recommend.

loved the place, small warning for your maintenance guys, a 4-5' black snake went under the gate of the small locked enclosure at the rear entrance to meeting room/gym. i saw it on sunday morning the 12th, sure it is harmless

I booked a unit that was supposed to sleep 8 and several of my friends were not able to come. We ended up with only 4 and it comfortably accommodated that many but no more. So, very expensive for 4. The dishwasher did not work and the outdoor pool was closed. Also, the unit was not as clean as I expect. The stove and oven were dirty. Some of the cooking ware was above the clothes dryer, and I didn't look for them there.

The unit was very nice and the views overlooking the pool and ocean were beautiful. There was plenty of room and everything was in working order. There were a few things that obviously had not been cleaned well in a while such as the shower floor which was dark and sticky and the kitchen sink, which had a black growth around the edges. One of the bathroom sinks had the same growth as well. For the amount tht was charged for the cleaning fee, I would have hoped it would have been thoroughly cleaned. Hurricane Ian became an issue during our stay, and we were told we would have to leave the condo after being there less that 24 hours. We were extremely disappointed but understood the safety issues associated with a storm of this size. The representatives in the office were helpful. They refunded fees for the nights we were not able to stay and generously refunded some of the other fees that were charged. We were grateful for this and would definitely consider returning to this property again.

I was expecting cleaner rooms and bathrooms for the price we paid at Gold status. There was a lot of dust under the beds and around the bedrooms and something in the room or vents that made me sneeze for the entire stay even while taking allergy meds. We had to vacuum the floors and do some of our own cleaning (first day), so I wasn't happy about the condition of the room. The kitchen was nice, though. The bathroom drain adjacent the 2 bed room was stopped up,too. We enjoyed our stay despite my runny nose and sinus issues (from mold and dust maybe because the building needs to be updated), but the room was overpriced.

When we arrived, late check in, packet was left in location stated in email. Very easy. When we entered the condo it was very dirty, urine on toilet seats, kid prints all over kitchen and walls, greasy remotes, chocolate everywhere, food around mattresses in the kid room, I spent 2 hours cleaning. I spoke with front office on Monday and they refunded the cleaning fee for me. They stated they only were renting this condo for a few weeks so this was not under the care of the on site staff. I assume cleaning prior was not provided by Colony Reef. I suggested a general deep cleaning due to build up on faucets and mildew around bathroom fixtures. Other than that I was very satisfied with the condo. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was stocked well, washer and dryer works well, furniture comfortable. I napped on the loungers on the balcony. Cant really hear the ocean waves crashing due to location from beach due to dunes and the general noise from the pool but that is not a deal breaker. I definitely recommend. There was not a lot of noise, has a huge lawn area people would play games and hang out on at and after dark. I did not use the indoor facilities but the pool was great! So easy for my 6 yo to swim, very large area 3 foot in depth. Has a small kiddie pool and hot tub was always hot! Location for food and activities good, not right up in all the craziness but to to far away if your looking for that atmosphere. I will visit here again if I come back to St. Augustine.

Great family complex. Very kid friendly with playground, pool, and large open space to play. Easy beach access. Our unit, 2204, was fairly clean...just a few dust bunnies. The small bedroom with two twin beds is way too cold to sleep in and we could not adjust the vents. Great complex!

Edsel and I sponsor a trip for our children each year at St. Augustine Beach. Three Condo's at least. Colony Reef served us perfectly. Such a wonderful atmosphere for the young who want to play as long a possible with new friends and old friends as well. WE are scheduled to be there again in 2022 week of July 4th. Our family of 7 stayed for a weekend at Colony Reef Club. We had a wonderful experience and would definitely do it again. The staff is great to work with. The place is kept beautifully landscaped and clean. Love the no smoking anywhere rule. No pets allowed so no need to worry about allergic reactions. The condo was clean and loved the tile floors and not any nicnacks to worry with the kids. There was lots of space and sleeping for seven of us. Loved the view of pool and ocean. Hated leaving. Thank you for a wonderful weekend!!
