We loved our stay but not the best Appartment and no view from the balcony that backs onto a busy ro

Dirty and a funky smell. Better to book directly through peppers.

Loved the location.

When we arrived the place was filthy. We swept a massive pile of dirt off the floor. Our beds sheets were stained and the bath towel had a “massive” brown mark on it. When we called they did send a cleaner to fix the room up. We sent them photos of how the room was left and asked for a reply. Nothing. The place is not the owners fault but those who you are renting it from. The room also has a funky smell. Better to book directly through peppers to ensure your room is clean. We travel for work and I have never complained about a room before. So very disappointed for the what we paid for our stay.

I felt like I was staying in someone else’s home but not in a good way.

The facilities were great.

The refrigerator did not work and there were used newspapers stuffed in a shelf. Also I think the pillow may have been latex as I had a severe reaction. There was a quilt shoved in the bottom of the wardrobe. I have honestly never taken the time to give a review like this before. Disappointed.

Please do NOT book 'One-Bedroom Suite with Spa Bath (4304) until after you have read this review!

Location and resort pool, but not worth the 'what didn't I like list'.

No one should be booking this place until the owners or management make repairs to the property. Things we didn't like: 1. Check in is at 2pm and we were called at 2:30pm wanting to know when will we be there. When I stated 3:30 to 4:00, I was told 'I guess we'll still be here then!'. 2. Mould and mildew on the ceiling above the bed where we slept(photo supplied). 3. Dirty INTERIOR windows and mirrors (photo supplied). 4. Toilet was gross and in poor working order (photo supplied). 5. Mould and mildew on blinds (photo supplied). 6. Dust on all the overhead fittings (photo supplied). 7. Agent letting themselves into the apartment without notification, knocking or identifying themselves....'sorry I got the wrong apartment'....my husband had to step out and say hang on a minute, even then they didn't identify themselves as the agent, I had to call the office to find out who had keys to the apartment. 7. A/c in the lounge dripped water when the a/c was on. 8. One of the kitchen lights leaked water when it was raining. 9. Gutters were nonfunctioning, when it rained the covered patio was wet from the water running down the external walls.

Nice spot to relax

Room was spacious. Linen was nice. Views to Mt Warning is lovely. Close to beach. Other restaurants were close by with supermarket approx. 5 mins away.

There needs to be some cleaning done under the bed, sofa and under Cushions.

Poorly maintained, dirty room.

Location and resort facilities

We booked room 6108 specifically When we arrived we were told that room 6108 had been given to another customer 4 days before our arrival and was unavailable despite the fact we had booked this room and rang to confirm it prior to arrival. Management did end up refunding 3 nights of a 10 night stay as compo but we had to chase it with numerous calls not returned. The room was filthy and poorly maintained I had to spend the first hour in the room cleaning it to an acceptable standard. Sheets were stained, a pair of old underwear in the corner of the lounge and floor boards were warped and pulling up in the dining room. No maintenance of the plunge pool in the 10 night stay so it was looking pretty grotty by the end of the stay.

Wouldn’t use Kingscliff Accomodation service again.

size and location good for short stay

No working air conditioning, very limited basic supplies such as towels, tea towels, toilet paper. No welcome instructions or easy access to rental company. Very poor accomodation management of this property. Very expensive in comparison to other similar accomodation along the Tweed coast.

Great location, however needs more attention to detail with presentation.

Plenty of room at the lagoon pool. I liked the bar area at the foyer where you could relax at a couch inside or table near the pool. Very short walk to cafes, shops and beach or just a relaxing walk.

There was only 1 cup which was chipped and stained. Also the carpet was not vacuumed very well.

Great location but apartment is not maintained by the resort it’s leased independently

Shower was mouldy and sheets were dirty

The key collection point is not at the actual location and the after hours duty manager did not respond to my numerous calls when I presented for the key pickup.

Great location for a family holiday.

Great location and facilities for kids. Spacious 1 bedroom apartment.

Mould in the shower. No beach towels and reception on occasion wouldn’t give us the beach towels as we didn’t book through peppers. Check in was delayed until 3:45pm.

Feedback on a few things - broken kettle - the spout was coming off and therefore poured hot water everywhere - no ventilation in both bathrooms (or isn't working), leaving towels and bathmats unable to dry, no replacement bath mats or towels were given as spare - power interruption on one full day, the hallways were pitch black (safety issue), no ETA given on power restoration; impacted us working remotely - alarm went off twice very early morning (5 or 6am) for no reason

Amazing and beautiful, highly recommended it!

Loved it! The room layout was fabulous, kitchen was well appointed and the spa bath was excellent because our visit was in winter and we couldn’t swim outside for long periods. The resort overall was lovely and very relaxing and its a great location. We will definitely be back!

Most of it was totally excellent. My only feedback would be the spa attached to the outdoor heated pool was a bit grimy. And because the room is independently managed off site you have to collect the keys elsewhere and don’t get any support from on-site resort concierge/reception staff. This would be fine but the company managing the property is understaffed and the lady was lovely but completely run off her feet so the first night we didn’t get the portacot we requested because she couldn’t go to the storeroom to get it, then the next day she provided one but it was broken and not at all SIDS safe. The third time around she gave us an excellent cot, it was just a bit of back and forth which takes time out of the holiday.

It should be made clear in the property description that it is a dual key apartment and therefore may not be suitable with young children Cleaning of the apartment was below par. Checkin and checkout is off-site

Great apartment, very comfortable

The location is great and it’s a very nice apartment

Couldn’t pick up keys until 330pm after having travelled all day. The floor and the shower were not clean on arrival, the aircon filter was full of dust as was the laundry cupboard and everything in it

Clean and comfortable but needs fixing

location & plunge pool

We didn’t realise & it wasn’t mentioned that the second bedroom was a separate access. Our kids are 3 & 4, so wasn’t overly ideal to have them so far away. improvements to mention: - we had no facewashers - we had only one tea towel - we had no plug for the spa bath - the air conditioning was leaking badly so we couldnt use it - the main slide door in the dining room was jammed so we couldn’t open it - the toaster needs replacing as it is old and rusted and not overly appealing to want to use. - the outdoor furniture especially the pool day beds need replacing. Both are cracked and have holes in them. we were unable to sit on them.

Good sized room and ensuite

Nail clippings on the floor, not vacuumed, dishes left in dishwasher and when opened smelled so bad. We had to cleaned the toilet and shower ourselves. Would of rather stayed directly at peppers. Let’s for room are 10 minutes away when we went reception on-site we were told they didn’t know about us as we had booked through a second party… not ideal to pay $60 to get from airport to bells boulevard to be told you have to drive another 10 minutes to get keys and 10 minutes back tl even get into your room.

beautiful resort with spacious comfortable room close to all the action

very spacious and was separated into two wings for ultimate privacy. private plunge pool was beautiful

Nice view, close to amenities, decent size apartment, slightly dated and needing more attention

Location was nice and close to the beach and restaurants. All you really needed.

Cleanliness was really below par and some items in the property needed replacement and weren’t working properly. I would be concerned with who is cleaning the apartment.

really liked the property. Just a few touches could help keep it up to Peppers Standards

The location was great everything you need is there. The plunge pool is private and peaceful

when we arrived the floor was covered in sand and the veranda. Sand on the outdoor table and veranda. I had to Vacuum to remove the amount of sand. The single beds were on wheels and moved around. And the main bed could be upgraded

Superb

Brilliant resort! Wow! Beach - beautiful, clean, good surf - just 100m away. Super swimming pool and facilities - really first class. Wonderful palm trees were view from my balcony.

Minimal provision for self-catering. I bought my own microwave.

Exceptional

Absolutely will be coming back and recommending to friends and family. Exceeded all of our expectations, well stocked, very clean apartment with everything we needed, private plunge pool was amazing!! Fantastic area with lots of restaurants close by, absolutely loved our stay!!

while the location was great, difficulty accessing room and air-conditioning not working was bad

Was very difficult to access the lock box. Was lucky someone else staying there let me in to get keys as 24/7 reception was not responding. Very hard to find our room as signage at hotel was poor. after wondering around a bit lugging our bags we asked someone who pointed us in the right direction. The air conditioning was not working and they were unable to fix it while we were there making the room very hot and stuffy and allowing us a very poor nights sleep. Crockery was dirty

pool towels not supplied.! Also as we booked through bookings .com and our room was a private rental reception and hotel staff could not help us when we trouble accessing our room when keys would not open the doors :(
