I love the property. It's located out of town near farmland and has mountain views. There are no neighbors nearby. The home is clean and has everything we needed for our stay. It's equidistant from Jacksonville and Ashland, and is very close to wineries. It's a perfect location for a weekend wine tasting trip!

The property was a wonderful home and grounds. Felt like we were in our own private world yet minutes away from restaurants, wineries, and many other sites southern Oregon has to offer.

WE THROUGHLY ENJOYED THIS HOME. EVERYTHING ABOUT IT WAS PERFECT. THE BEDS WERE A LITTLE TOO SOFT FOR MY LIKING, BUT MY WIFE AND FAMILY LOVED IT! WE WILL STAY HERE AGAIN!

Unfortunately we could only stay one night as we would have loved to stay longer. Such a beautiful place. Looking forward to coming back again.

First of all my congrats to whoever orchestrated the renovation of this home. It’s beautiful!! Done in “farmhouse chic”, JoJo Gaines would be proud. The design and furnishings are tasteful and comfy. The king suite is large and the bed is amazing. There is plenty of hanging space in the closet although the owners may want to free up shelf space by putting all the excess bedding elsewhere. The only issue was the light in the room from the two streetlights across the road and the security lights from the Boise Cascade yard. Given the windows I understand that blinds would ruin the design aesthetics but…we happen to like a moderately dark room to sleep in.
The one queen bedroom doesn’t have an adjoining bathroom. You can access the bathroom going through the other queen bedroom or from a door off the kitchen. I mention this only in case there are three couples sharing the house. Might be a bit awkward for some. Perfect for a family with kids.
The kitchen was well supplied with everything we needed—bonus was the ice cream in the freezer!
The homeowner was great about getting back to me with my questions…yes to hairdryer, great bath products and most importantly A/C for our summer stay. When we got locked out (keypad battery died) she was hiking in the mountains and didn’t have coverage so response was slow but, her handyman got it fixed eventually and the timing was perfect as we were just finishing wine tasting for the day!
The location was good..out of Medford but still close to wineries and eating places. For breakfast you have to go to Debbie’s Diner ( 5 minutes away). Some of our fav wineries were 15-20 minutes away…RoxyAnn, 2Hawk, Naumes, and Paschal. Troon is farther [45 minutes) but well worth the drive up Applegate valley). If you go to RoxyAnn, they have a huge selection of picnic supplies (local cheese, crackers, sausage, mustards, and amazing produce from their orchards) and best of all is their partnership with Rogue-ish Smokers, a BBQ food truck with the most rubs I’ve ever had—and given that I’ve lived in the south including Memphis, Atlanta and Dallas that is saying something!! We loved Pomodiri Osteria in downtown Medford. Amazing Italian food. Good cocktail. Wines by the glass were marginal.
Would definitely stay here again

The property was perfect for our mother daughter retreat. The house is beautiful, well maintained and plenty of room for our group of six. Susan was a great host, answered our questions and went above and beyond to make our trip pleasant.

What a lovely stay in Phoenix where three friends were interested in attending OSF plays, and having access to good food and a respite between activities. This is exactly what we had. Just a short direct 15 minute drive South on Hwy 99 took us directly to the Oregon Shakespeare Festival venues. We also enjoyed a short trip to visit Historic Jacksonville, and even ran into Central Point to visit the Rogue Creamery to pick up some fresh local cheese. A special discovery was that by walking on the sidewalk from our VRBO about 8/10 of a mile, we were connected to the Bear Creek Trail system. Each day I was able to start my day with a 3 to 5 mile walk. We also drove to Blue Heron Park where the three of us also enjoyed strolling between plays or after dinner before sundown. Beds were comfy, kitchen had everything we needed and we loved how quiet it was considering we were just a minute from the main highway. This time I traveled with friends. Next time I hope my husband and family can enjoy a stay here. Thanks Susie!

Three couples shared this home during our Oregon State Grange convention. We loved the house and especially the outdoor patio area. It was a nice place to relax after a busy day at the convention. We would certainly stay again if in the area!

My husband and I, along with 2 adult kids and their spouses stayed here for the weekend to attend a wedding. It is perfectly situated between Medford and Ashland and so peaceful! Close to amenities but the feel of the country. We had ither family members over for dinner on the patio, which was wonderful.
The recent renovations were beautifully done. Bathrooms are gorgeous. Kitchen is lovely and well appointed (knives weren't awesome, but everything else was!). Susan was responsive and helpful when I had to call with a question.
This house is a gem and we will be back! Thanks so much.

Another very nice stay.
We once again enjoyed our stay at this property. Well maintained, very clean, and the hosts are responsive in both pre-communications and if/when needed during the stay.
I would have only one possible criticism (and it may well be just me and my body), and that is that I find the master bedroom bed to be very soft. So much so that I end up sleeping in one of the guest rooms where the mattress is firmer. And again, this may just my tired old back, but I mention it in case the owners have had similar comments, in which case it may be time for replacing.
But we'll happily be renting again!

Perfect Getaway
This house was perfect for us. Two couples on a golf/wine tasting trip. We were close to all the golf courses we played and the wineries are plentiful throughout the countryside. Returning to the house after our outings was very relaxing. We cooked in most nights and played yard games.
We will be back again.

Great Experience! Better than expected!
Accommodated our every need. Very thankful it was so close to our daughter's wedding venue! Would recommend this as a location to stay for anyone getting married at Pheasant Field Farms. Highly recommended. Only suggestion would be to add a few items to the kitchen for food preparation, and be sure the propane tanks are full.

Another nice, relaxing visit
The house was just as lovely this visit as it was our first time. Pleasantly surprised that none of the damage from the horrific fire of 2020 was visible from the property. The brand new bbq was much appreciated and well used by us!
