Elite World Grand Sapanca is an impressive resort with a huge range of amenities. There is plenty to do within the property itself, including the aqua park, multiple indoor and outdoor pools, and gaming facilities such as table tennis, foosball and bowling. The spa and hammam were also excellent, with very professional therapists and a great overall experience.
There are multiple dining options, and the half-board package was particularly convenient, with breakfast, evening tea and dinner included at 3 Floor Restaurant.
A special mention goes to Nabila from the Guest Relations Department, who was extremely helpful throughout our stay. She reached out to us on our first night, and when I shared a few inconveniences we had experienced while trying to reach Room Service, she took the feedback seriously and the service improved noticeably thereafter. On our final day, we had to check out early to catch our flight from Istanbul and would have missed the buffet breakfast, so she kindly arranged takeaway breakfast boxes for us. Her attentiveness and willingness to help were greatly appreciated.
Check-out was also very swift and efficient, which was particularly helpful given our early departure.
While the Room Service staff were friendly and helpful, unfortunately our experience with Reception was quite different. Shortly before check-out, I called Reception to request some additional drinking water. After hearing the request, the person simply disconnected the call without even acknowledging it or confirming whether the water would be sent. No one subsequently came to deliver it, and I eventually had to contact Room Service separately, who thankfully assisted.
This was quite unprofessional and disappointing, particularly for a resort of this standing. Reception is often the primary point of contact for guests, so a more courteous and responsive approach would significantly improve the overall guest experience.
