About this condo rental
Situated in Kingston, this attractive condo for $236 per night is a great option for your next trip. This lovely penthouse sleeps up to four guests very comfortably, with one bedroom and a large private living room with floor to ceiling windows over the pond. The master bedroom has a queen bed with French doors onto the open living room. The large front room has a sofa with trundle bed for extra guests, along with two large lounge chairs, fireplace, library, and 52” flat screen television. We do provide a pack n play and blow up mattress if needed. There is an equipped full kitchen with dining area off of front room. The full bathroom has large bathtub and vanity. The guests have a relaxing patio deck area for plenty of quiet time. There is also outside comfortable furniture to relax and take in the New England wildlife . This pond front property offers a relaxing atmosphere with beautiful views of your private beach for swimming, kayaking, and canoeing. You're a stone's throw from the Plymouth Rock, Plantation, and Plymouth Beach, along with all the restaurants and shops along the waterfront. Boston, Cape Cod, and Edaville Railroad with Thomas Land are only minutes from your doorstep. There is a walking path around an adjacent cranberry bog, along with fire pits and private patio for your outdoor pleasure. The Penthouse is on a quiet fenced in wooded pond front property with private parking and entrance. This property offers a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere for outdoor dining on a deck with beautiful views of your private beach. You will have your own private grill and fire pit with all the utensils needed for a cook out! There are also plenty of hiking and walking trails for your adventurous spirit. The guests will have keys to their own entrance of the home, which walks out onto a private deck with gardens for private dining. They also have the option of taking out kayaks, canoe, and rowboat on their own private beach to make their stay enjoyable and memorable! The Conservation service put in a bird sanctuary around an old bog adjacent to Pond for your walking enjoyment. Great for dogs or just viewing the beautiful New England landscape. We have outdoor patios with fire pits for your evening camp out. We are only a five minute ride to a train station to Boston, 10 minutes to an airport for Nantucket, and 9 minutes to a boat for Martha's Vineyard, Whale watching, and fishing charters. The Inn has private parking for guests once you arrive. There are taxi cabs (uber), trains, boats, and buses to get you anywhere! This is your perfect place for your New England glamping trip! There is a small library for your needs when it comes to Nantucket, Martha's Vineyard, Hyannis, Boston, Salem, Plymouth Plantation, Plymouth Rock, Edaville, Thomas Land, etc, etc.........and I am always available for any questions!!! We loved how quiet and relaxing it was. Plenty of room to stretch out. Host was wonderful, and provided ideas of where to visit in the area.

This was one of the best appointed homes I’ve ever stayed in. You really just need to bring your toothbrush and clothes. The location was beautiful in a quiet neighborhood and on a small pond with beautiful sunsets. The host was wonderful made sure anything you might need was there. I brought my granddaughters they loved it!! Would definitely stay there again we loved it!!

Had a wonderful time. The property was beautiful. Family, friends and our dog enjoyed the pond, paddle boat, fishing, the barbecue, the fire pit and making s’mores.
Our host, Debbie, was very helpful and always available if we needed her.

Nice property with private back yard. Nice private seating area near a pond. About 5-10 minute drive from Plymouth. Close enough but not too close. Really quiet. We never heard anyone else there.

Great Place, Wonderful Host
We stayed here for a long weekend, myself, my son and our dog. Great fenced in area for the dog, right on the water and very comfortable. The host was very helpful and kind, Book here, you won't be disappointed.

Charming Stay at a Perfect Location
My sister and I stayed at the Clear Pond Penthouse Inn property in Plymouth, MA for a weekend stay. We had a Friday night wedding in Kingston and wanted to tool around Plymouth on Saturday to see the sights. Perfect location for both! Our wedding and downtown Plymouth were 15 minutes away.
The penthouse suite is lovely and tastefully decorated. If you didn't have anywhere to go - you wouldn't mind just hanging out at the suite! It was clean and comfortable and had everything needed as far as amenties go. The main room overlooks the back yard and the pond beyond. We took advantage of walking around the pond to the right of the gate and it was so pretty being surrounded by nature.
The host Debra is great! She answered any questions that we had and the check in/check out process was so easy.
I would highly recommend a stay here . We would love to visit again!

Wonderful property
We had a fantastic fall weekend, the property is exactly as described and is well stocked. Debbie was there when we arrived but her instructions were clear for guest arrival. Everything was clean and neat. The grounds were lovely and there’s plenty of space, the pond looked beautiful and the walking trail was great for anyone. A very quick easy ride into Plymouth and any stores or restaurants you might like. We look forward to booking again.

Perfect stay
I rented this property for a family weekend with my parents and brother. We grew up a few towns over so it was nice to be near everything. You're just off the highway, so close to great restaurants in Plymouth, yet feel far away and secluded being right on the serene pond.
Everything was as pictured and it was great to have a big living room for us to hang out in. The only thing to note which I may have missed on the listing is that the bathroom is in between the kitchen and master bedroom. So if someone is in the restroom, you can't pass between the bedroom and kitchen (and rest of the home). This was a little tricky while everyone is getting ready, but we made it work. Something to be aware of, depending on who you are traveling with!
All in all our stay was great and I would recommend it to others.

Quiet winter getaway
Lots of room for our family of 4 to spread out. Some construction being done on adjacent unit but owner was good about communicating. Nice walks around the pond and a small sledding hill 2 minutes from the house. Close to lots of amenities and well stocked kitchen.

Great stay
Incredible location, the view from the house to the pond is amazing and having boats provided by the owner makes a huge difference.. upon this crystal clear and great for swimming... And the whole backyard from the house to the pond is gorgeous..

Great location with view. Private and quiet but bed needs an upgrade
The location is convenient to downtown and the property is large with a nice view of the pond and a great walking path. The owner is friendly and helpful. Check in/out was easy and we had a lovely, off season stay (in February). However, the bed wasn't super comfortable. I'm a picky sleeper with a sensitive back and the bed wasn't comfortable for me. It's not terrible but it was a factor in our stay. Also, I was under the impression from the pictures and description that we had a 2 bedroom space when it was actually a one bedroom. Again, not a big deal since it was only two of us, but important to note if you need more privacy for extra guests. We were in the Penthouse which does have a day bed in the living room, and can sleep 4, but not in a private bedroom.
Overall, it is a lovely, clean, peaceful property with all of the necessities. We would stay again provided we bring our own extra pillows and bedding for more comfort.

My sister and I had a sister's weekend in Plymouth. The home was very nice.it is centrally located so very easy to get to the cape and to Boston.the dishwasher and microwave over the stove were out of order but they did Supply a small microwave. Parking was tight. We came back after shopping to find a the truck taking up both spaces.. overall it was a nice place to stay view of the lake was beautiful

Great location, unique set up, much nicer than staying in a hotel and very affordable.
The pond was a bonus, the property accommodates 3 differ parties, each have their own area as well as common space. It was nice meeting other people staying there but also allowing privacy. We will be sure to go again.

Oven , microwave, a refrigerators were not clean at all. Only reason we did not leave and go somewhere else was we knew it would have been a hassle to get a refund and we did not spend much time in the room.

Beautiful lake front
We had a great time. The property was beautiful, clean, and roomy. The views and the yard was beautiful. The only thing I would recommend is that the owner would update the listing with her pet policy, and also let people know that the yard and lake front is shared. Other than that everything else was great.

Very misleading and uncomfortable
Our major concern with this property was the inability to keep renters from the other part of the house out of our unit. The owner took a split level house and divided it up into 3 separate rentable properties, but did not give us the ability to lock all doors from our side of the property. There were two doors that could be accessed from other parts of the house - one in the kitchen and one in the bathroom. When I first walked through the property with the owner, she said that it was simply where she kept her personal things and that she kept them locked. However, the ability to lock the doors was on the other side of the doors. Anyone in the other parts of the house could come into our unit at any time, and there wasn't any way on our end to prevent it. Once we realized that they weren't closets, as the owner had led us to believe, we had to leave and stay elsewhere.
The photos and property description are misleading - the so-called private beach is less than 30 feet of weedy shoreline. All outdoor spaces are communal and not private. The description states that there is a full bathroom with separate shower area - this is not true. The only thing separating the shower from the rest of the bathroom is the shower curtain. The owner, while nice, is on the property doing yard work every day.
It never occurred to me to check to see if the unit included a washer and dryer - it does not, and the laundromat is not close. There were only a couple of towels, so this was very discouraging.

Top of My List!
Perfect place for a nice vacation! Close to everything, from quiet beaches, tourist attractions to Boston events. Debbie is a fantastic host... I wanted her to hang out with us for the whole weekend! This will be our first choice place to stay next time we’re in the area for sure!
