My family and I stayed at this property for five nights before moving to the south side of the island. There was six of us in total. This home is one of the best we have stayed at over the years. The decor and furniture were comfortable and very high quality. It did not feel like staying in a rental unit, but rather staying in someone’s home. Everything was stocked well (kitchen supplies/appliances, beach equipment, towels, sunscreen, etc.). The property was also clean and well cared for. We enjoyed its location, including the hike at the end of the road. Nourish Hanalei was tasty and within walking distance. All four of the beds were comfortable and had the perfect amount of bedding. The fans worked well in bringing air into the rooms so it was not hot at night either. We also had two vehicles and parking was easy and convenient at the home. All in all it was a wonderful stay on the north side of Kauai!

We loved our stay here. The scenery and area is absolutely sublime. We loved being nestled between Princeville and Hanalei. We would definitely stay here and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a home away from home in Northern Kauai. Owner was very responsive and gracious. Thank you!

We enjoy our stay for what it was, but if you are allergic to cats, sensitive to smells, or planning to spend a lot of time inside the home this may not be a good fit for you and your traveling party. There is a nice kitchen with a beautiful dining table. The house provided all the beach accessories we needed; however, many of the items did smell like dirty cat/cat pee. Parking and location was very convenient to many places we wanted to explore. Despite all of this we still enjoyed our stay.

Place is clean, well decorated, had all the extras like beach items and a book of insider information about the area. Having a spot to do laundry is fantastic. The neighborhood cat was a pleasant surprise.

Great place for a family vacation. Everything was perfect. Easy to get around the island. Hanalei Bay is super close with beautiful chill beaches. Kitchen is fully stocked for anything you may need. The general store by Foodland is easy to grab a quick bite to eat. Visit Queens Bath, Tunnels beach, shipwreck beach. Also, there is a dry cave you can visit past Hanalei Bay. We enjoyed the roasters visits everyday and when they came on the patio. And Bonkers (the cat) coming by every night for a quick visit. Having a washer and dryer is a big plus; no need to over pack. Ate a ton of shave ice from JoJos and Wishing Well. If you enjoy BBQ, chicken in a barrel is great. So many places to eat for everyone. Overall, Princeville is the place to stay for a chill and relaxing vacation. Will be back for another vacation! Mahalo, Ema!
