About this house rental
Situated in Casas Adobes, this charming house for $100 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. Remodeled June 2021. This home is located close to everything that Oro Valley has to offer. Very clean. Two bedroom and 1 3/4 bath. Washer and Dryer on premises. Master has Queen and full bed with on suite. A day bed that can be either two twins or a king with a full bath . New, good mattresses on the 4 beds. Lots of extra pillows. New flooring, shower and bath. Access to BBQ, pool and jacuzzi. 5 minutes to Oro Valley Aquatic center, great children's park, many golf courses, tennis clubs and many hiking trails including Catalina State Park. Walking trails and great neighborhood. Bike trails close by with The Loop only minutes from home. Full kitchen with dishwasher. Lots of Restaurants both local and chains from Mexican, Italian, Thai, Coco's, Whole Foods with tried and true recommendations in welcome book. There are many brochures to many attractions in Tucson and surrounding areas. There is a LA Fitness with day/month rates that you can walk to. Also a Planet Fitness 5 mile drive. With the Coronavirus we are doing the following.: The townhouse will be cleaned thoroughly. Including all the towels and sheets have been washed in hot water and lots of soap. I have cleaned all the furniture and all surfaces extra well. There are disinfectant wipes on the kitchen counter if you feel like you need to clean anything that “just doesn’t seem clean enough”. The soap in the soap dispensers is Anti-Microbial. Those wipes are there for your comfort at the townhouse. Please do not take a lot of them or the toilet paper etc. I need all that for the next people coming in. I will also have sanitizer to refill travel bottles if you run out.

Townhome was as advertised. Happy with the cleanliness, and they provided what we needed for our stay. Didn’t use the pool. One issue for me, but might not be for others, was the foam in the mattresses and pillows. I get excessively hot from foam.

Clean & cozy. great location if you enjoy hiking. I went in February. The pool was not heated. There were some issues using the lock to get into the spa. Host responded promptly. Beds & couch comfortable.

This is a great VRBO. The location is perfect. It is out of the major hub of the traffic/stop lights in the city. Any shopping you need to do this location is the best. Malls galore with easy access and wide open spaces. Beautiful view of the mountains and peaceful. We truly enjoyed our relaxing stay at Sunnyslope. This was the best furnished VRBO we have ever stayed in. Our Host (Michelle) was quick to reply to any questions. She was great and we appreciated her assistance. First Class all the way. Would stay there again without hesitation.

Con's:
Lot's of House Rules...Upon arriving, owner wanted me to confirm that I read all of the rules. Upon reviewing them I discovered that the A/C thermostat was locked at 75 degrees, meaning it won't go below 75 degrees in the Summer. I didn't tell my husband right away as I knew that he wouldn't want to stay and once you arrive...it's really hard to find other lodging at the last minute. I was hoping that he wouldn't notice but he figured it out once we got hot and he couldn't get the A/C to go any lower...I had to finally confess. He said that this place is a "No Go" for our future visits to the area.
The internet was also a problem...it works but the speed test was only 4 megabytes, so it's something to consider if you need to do any zoom meetings or work from home while on vacation.
The TV is older so it doesn't have any apps on it so we had to use our laptop to watch Netflix and other streaming apps. The rulebook said that there was supposed to be an HDMI cable in the right drawer under the TV, but when we looked it wasn't anywhere to be found. Luckily, we had one of our own...if this is important to you - make sure to bring one.
The road noise on Oracle is pretty loud when you have the doors open in the evening while trying to cool the place down.
All in all the property was okay considering the price. If you are looking for a reasonable place to stay in a nice, safe location and don't mind the A/C lockout situation and older TV -- you will be just fine.

Great location & comfortable, made it easy to accomplish a lot of Tucson tasks & travels. We now have a place in Oro Valley as a result of this trip so that would be the only reason we wouldn't return.

Clean. Equipped. Priced fairly. Big thank you for allowing my family to check in early. We drove 6.5 hours and had to do early check for a 3:00pm appointment for wedding rehearsal. VRBO should make communication better. Technology needs to be improved.

We loved the decor and comfortable furniture, and covered parking. We spent the Christmas holiday at the townhouse, cooked meals and particularly enjoyed the string of white lights on the porch that made it festive. Great library of books, nice tv which we don't usually watch but due to the pandemic we were more homebodies than usual. The townhouse had been redecorated and the master shower was especially nice as were the comfy beds. The neighborhood provided a short, safe walk and the place was close to Trader Joe's, hiking trails and had great views of the mountains. We would stay there again.

U of Arizona Family Weekend trip
We were in Tucson to visit our son, who's a student at the UA, and the condo was a perfect place for us to come home to each evening. It's clean, well-kept, and the owners were very responsive to our questions. Highly recommend!
