About this house rental
Located in Carolina Beach, this lovely house for $528 per night is a great choice for your next break. Enjoy Carolina Beach while staying at this magnificent 4 bedroom 4 bath duplex with all the amenities of home. Sleeping ten people, we are centrally located in the middle of Pleasure Island, a few short steps and you are relaxing on the beach or enjoying lunch at the Tiki Bar. Pleasure Island has many wonderful attractions to keep everyone happy. Activities including historic Fort Fisher Aquarium, sailing/boating, fishing,and shopping are some things offered. Great restaurants are located on the island for casual and fine dining. Or take a twenty -minute ride into Wilmington, NC and see what it has to offer. Entertainment, fine and casual dining at wonderful local restaurants, shopping and the new boardwalk are all within a short stroll in downtown Carolina Beach. During the season , enjoy carnival rides at the boardwalk amusement park, play games at the arcades and watch the weekly Thursday night fireworks show from the boardwalk or beach. Visit the lake during the weekly Saturday morning farmers' market for fresh fare and on Sunday evenings to watch the outdoor movie. Free downtown actives also include weekly bingo and live concerts. And don't forget Brits Donuts, ranked number 2 in the United States and easily addictive. This Condo, spacious and comfortable is three stories with two outside decks. Our home is set up for family fun and includes games and books. Free high speed WIFI is provided for your convenience. There are two large decks located with chairs and table for outdoor dining. Enjoy an outside meal while listening to the ocean or and early cup of coffee as you watch the sunrise. A grand welcome with palm trees and ocean breezes. The lower level has an outdoor entrance and outdoor private shower. There is a large bedroom with a queen sized bed, tv and private bathroom. As you enter the main living area, you will find the comfort of home. The living space is tastefully decorated and comfortably sits six. Watch movies or TV or listen to music on the large HDTV. Heed extra room for sleeping? The sofa makes a queen bed. Dinners are easy to prepare in the gourmet kitchen. The kitchen has granite countertops and stainless appliances. Whether preparing a decadent meal or throwing together a quick snack cooking is made easy in the kitchen fully equipped with all the modern utensils, cookware and gadgets. No need to worry about bringing items from your home. We supply the commercial pots, pans, dishes, glasses, and baking items that one can imagine. Family gathering at meal time is easy. The dining area comfortably seats 6 at the large table, with additional seating for four at bar and 4-6 at the table outside. Also located on this main floor is a bedroom complete with queen size bed , TV and private bath. The top floor boast 2 additional bedrooms. The Master bedroom, with king size bed, large flat screen tv, has a large outdoor deck. Take an afternoon nap, have a glass of wine, enjoy the ocean breezes, watch the sunrise , read a book while relaxing on the outdoor sofa or prop your feet up while rocking in a chair. The master bedroom 's private sitting area allows you to escape for some time away. The master private bath has a walk in shower, and a double sink vanity. Along with the master bedroom, this floor also has an additional bedroom with queen size bed, TV and private bath. A full size washer and dryer are located on this floor for our guests convenience. For your convenience, Serendipity, also provides linens, bath towels, hand towels, bath cloths. We also provide a starter kit of paper towels, toilet paper, dishwasher supplies, dish detergent, and trash bags. Serendipity a home for relaxing, ocean breezes and wonderful memories! We have visited Carolina Beach several times. This was our first time staying at this property. The location was very nice (convenient to beach and dining) and was definitely the highlight, however, we found that the cleanliness was lacking and that the amenities indicated in the description were not provided as described.
The first evening we used the tub for the children, we found that it was not draining properly. Upon closer inspection, we found a fist sized hair clog. We found dead flies, dust bunnies, etc. on the windowsills, hairs on some of the linens, and so forth.
We were advised that starters would be provided for dish soap, detergents, etc. We were provided two dish pods and two garbage bags, but there was no laundry detergent, no liquid dish detergent, etc.
Other amenities were sparse: we were provided one bath towel for each person, there was no soap or other products in the baths or showers, etc. In other properties we have stayed at, these things were provided.

We had a lovely time at this beautiful house! It’s on a busier road but is such an easy walk to the beach, ice cream, and the tiki bar across the street :). Carol was great to work with and gave a ton of recommendations! The view from the master room with the deck is so beautiful so make sure whoever stays in that room is open to having coffee and happy hour on the deck :). Thank you for opening up your home to us!

Parking was TIGHT for 3 vehicles-
Also the palm trees “bled” on the the cars (very hard to remove the sap)
We didn’t have ice or refrigerator water (in door- ) but no big deal
Plenty of hot water for all 9 of us
View of beach very limited but it was a very short walk to get there
Noise level was ok
Didn’t have any safety concerns
A few windows serve restaurants within walking distance
Not easy to exit driveway due to traffic- but some people were nice enough to hold traffic for us to back out
Not 1,000 things to do before leaving - just basically trash out and run dishwasher

Lovely home with 4 full baths. Plenty of space for 10 people. Comfortable beds!
Did have some delays with communication via Vrbo messaging. Discovered that text messaging directly to owner’s phone was the best option and responses were very timely.
Would suggest using the available programmable keyless entry instead of a single key in a combination lockbox. The keyless entry locks can easily be reprogrammed for each renter; some even remotely.

Great ocean experience at Carolina Beach!!
Everything was clean and well maintained. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to cook meals for a family. The ocean views from the balcony were spectacular. Multiple shops and restaurants within walking distance. We would definitely lease again!!

Wonderful Stay at Carolina Beach !
We were in town for a family members wedding at Wrightsville Beach. Was nice to be able to have most of the family stay at one property, the other half at Kure Beach. Location to beach access was perfect as was Oceans Tiki Bar right across the road. The property was beautiful and clean and was accurately represented from VRBO ad. This was our first experience using VRBO and renting a vacation home. Would do again, and highly recommend to others. Susan was great to work with. We had guests in our group ranging in age from 90-17 and the home met all our needs perfectly. If ever in the area again would definately book again. !!!!!!

Bright, well situated, large, clean home perfect for families
Serendipity was a wonderful property which we thoroughly enjoyed. We had 4 adult family couples and we loved all having our own bathroom! The common area and kitchen were very spacious, we also enjoyed the two outdoor areas. The only negative was that we had to leave!!

Family Weekend
The house is right across the street from the beach with a beach access very close. The property was very clean with plenty of room for eight adults and two young children. The bottom floor got pretty chilly so bring an extra blanket if you are cold natured. The outdoor shower and hose were so convenient to wash off after the beach. We rented a golf cart and cruised around Carolina Beach, it was a fun extra! We would definitely rent again!

Perfect family vacation rental
Extremely well decorated and equipped. Great location to beach access and The Tiki Bar across the street. Short walk to the Boardwalk and other restaurants and attractions. The furnishings were extremely comfortable we really enjoyed the outdoor dining on the main level and the private balcony off the master with couches and cushioned chairs. We loved it!

We had such a great time. The house was perfect! We had 4 couples so it was very nice to each have our own room and bathrooms. Stocked with everything in kitchen you would need. Easy communications with the owner. Short walk across street to the beach. The beach and ocean were amazing, very clear and calm. We were a short drive to the restaurants. We ate at Havana’s, Michaels, and michealangelos pizza. All were delicious! Thank you for our great weekend!!

This home was beautiful with great views. We loved having a bathroom for every bedroom. It was a very short walk to the beach. We enjoyed the balconies and having family time playing cards in the evenings. Very nice!
