Situated in Poipu, this charming house for $750 per night is a great choice for your next break. Large, beautifully furnished 4 bedroom/3 bath split-level island home is located 50 yards from sparkling Baby Beach (a quiet, protected blue lagoon in the heart of Poipu Beach). We have renovated the interior with new carpet, paint, Travertine tile flooring, bathroom fixtures, granite counters, cabinets, and stainless steel appliances. Upstairs you will find three bedrooms, two baths, a full kitchen, living room area with flat-screen television, cathedral ceilings, large lanais, and ceiling fans throughout. Downstairs there is a King bedroom, full bath, and living area with a flat-screen television. Major appliances including washer & dryer, cable, flat screen televisions, Internet Connection, DVD player, and outdoor gas barbecue for guest use. Large private backyard and front are landscaped with coconut trees, tropical flowers and banana trees. This is island living at its finest! Great location. We had an amazing time staying at this house. The location was super convenient for almost everything we planned to do in Kauai. Very clean and up to date, well stocked with everything we needed for the beach. The neighborhood is very safe and seems family oriented. Baby Beach is a nice gem a few steps away. We were momentarily concerned about no AC however we really never needed it because of the great airflow through the home. I would consider staying here again if the opportunity presented itself.

Location was perfect. Really enjoyed all the extras like the beach equipment, towels, soap and shampoo. The kitchen was also well stocked. As others have noted, this house does not have air conditioning, so it does get extremely hot inside. Mattresses and bedding could also be updated.

For a large group, especially if children are involved, this rental is perfect. Lots of beach equipment available and the Pac n Play was a life saver. Lots of room in and out. Close to Baby beach, Lawai beach and snorkel at Kaloa landing. The only caution is this home has no air conditioning and can bake in the afternoon sun. Use the windows/doors for correct air flow and use the window coverings. Full length curtains and darker shades would help. But, hey, it's Kaua'i and the sun shines. Make the most of it.

Thank you for sharing this great beach house with us. My family loved our stay. Plenty of comfortable room for everyone. Quiet neighborhood, just steps from the beach. The house had more than enough beach gear for our group of eight. We would absolutely love to rent this house again.

The house was beautiful and had everything we needed. It was in a great location right next to a small beach. It was our first time to Hawaii but hopefully not the last. We loved the house and would definitely come back. The only thing we wish is that it would have at least had a small window air unit or something to cool down in the evenings. Once the sun went down the temperature dropped and it was cool for the night. Not a huge issue that would keep us from returning.

Our travel party was comprised of 10 local retirees. The property was spacious and clean. The kitchen was well equipped with cooking utensils, pots and pans. The appliances were modern, even the washing machine and dryer.The prevailing tradewinds and overhead fans helped keep the house cool.

The space was great for our family of 6 adults and 4 childrenâincluding a 10-month-old. There were lots of toys and equipment for the beach, house, and yard and good baby equipment for the 10-month-old (he loved the walker). Fortunately it didn't rain much while we were there, so we were able to eat our dinners at the large table on the deck. We enjoyed being able to easily go back and forth between the house and Baby Beach.

My family and I spent a glorious week in this very well appointed property. Only a 5 min walk to Baby Beach, great for little ones. The amount of amenities provided was outstanding. We hope to be able to return again someday. Kauai is a very beautiful place to visit. A lovely shopping centre was walking distance away. Best ice-cream at Lappert's.

This was a family vacation with three generations and the house worked beautifully. Well equipped kitchen and lots of towels and linens. The clothes washer really needs servicing and we let the owner know as our clothing and towels we washed came out pretty much as we put them in. We'd recommend the house and would stay there again with our family group.

The only issue we had was that the heat made it difficult to get to sleep some nights for those staying in the rooms where there were only small windows and no sliding doors. We stayed here with another family over Easter. Great place for an egg hunt! We loved walking to Baby Beach. It was great for kids. They enjoyed playing in the mellow surf and seeing sea turtles. Great communication. We appreciated all the help!

We had a wonderful stay. The house accommodated our group of seven perfectly. We enjoyed all of the views, the close proximity to the beach, walking accessibility, and restaurants. The place was so well stocked it felt like home. The owner was responsive when we needed some help with the grill's propane. The ocean and beach gear provided was definitely a plus. Great getaway on a beautiful island!

Overall, the home suited our needs. Had plenty of beach gear for our use, as well as a good amount of space for our group of 9. It sleeps 10, but thatâs based on each bed and the sleeper sofa sleeping 2 each (aside from the room with the twin beds). The location was perfectâŚonly a short walk to baby beach, and maybe 3-5 mins from Poipu. The home was fairly clean, however, there were items left around from what I assume was the previous renters, such as towels, and some opened food items in the lower level refrigerator, leaving it feeling as if the cleaning was not as thorough as it could have been. Communication with property manager during our stay was challenging, and when attempting to gain clarification on items instructed in manual, the replies were delayed, didnât happen or were unclear. We attempted to leave things as instructed, however many were not in the locations as noted in the manual

-Recommend âHawaiian Style Surfâ lessons for beginners 1 mile east at Kiahuna beach.
â˘Close walking distance to a little outdoor shopping plaza (clothing, souvenirs, art galleries, Longâs Drugstore, Lapperts ice creamery, restaurants/bar).
â˘1.5 miles from Spouting Horn and The McBryde & Allerton Botanical Garden (highly recommend).
Home away from home, great place to just chill or return to at the end of our multiple activities throughout the day. Weâd definitely stay here again.

Our extended family had a wonderful stay. The quick walk to baby beach for sunrise and critter sightings, walking or running trail, and close to all other amenities. The home was stocked! We found absolutely everything needed for our beach based week.
Nights on the wonderful wrap around porch where many games were played quickly became mandatory.

Shelly Griffin made our stay most memorable. We were able to spend time with family and create very special memories. Love the house and all the amenities. The beach is just minutes away walking. Shelly went out of her way to accommodate our special requests. We will definitely try to make it out there again. !!!!

We stayed 3 nights and were gone most of the days. Do to COVID we only used a few items in the house items in the kitchen after we clean them first. This was not to say that they were not clean already, just an extra layer of protection. There was one exception, one of the toilets looked as they had been used and not cleaned very well. The red dirt was evident in the cracks and crevices through the house, but through out the whole island this could be found. This still gets 5 stars overall.

The house was the perfect property for our family! The rooms were spacious, and plenty of open spaces to hang out and have fun with the family. It was well-stocked with the essentials, plus tons of beach towels and other fun stuff for the beach. It's a few steps away from a small, quiet, beautiful beach. And, it's walking or short-drive distance to many good eats. Shelley was a superb host who was very responsive and accommodating. Mahalo Shelley and we look forward to visiting again!

This was a great place for our family of 7 to stay. Well equipped with beach toys, towels, beach chairs, etc. Kitchens were also very well equipped. Short walk to the beach, nice place for a morning or evening run too!

This was the absolute most perfect house for our group of 9 adults!!! Our daughterâs wedding was very close by so this house was a prize location for us. Everything was amazing about this house, It was just like being at home, has everything you could ever need. Neighborhood is beautiful, too. Highly recommend and we would absolutely stay here again.

The host (Shelley) is the best, very helpful, we arrived without car rental (all sold out). We called every single car rental, she helped us finding one from a friend and it saved our stay in Kauai...Thank you very much Shelley and to your friend âyou're a life saverâ. Overall, we enjoyed our family vacation here.
What I liked the most was the layout of the house. It was just perfect to us. Small kids who need a nap and early bed time stayed on the first floor, away from the noise on upstair. And it was a little cooler than the 2nd floor so that they were able to sleep around lunch time without A/C. We did BBQ on a balcony and sunset was beautiful. Kitchen was remodeled and clean with lots of dishes, cups, utensils, etc. Communication with a property manager was easy, prompt, and informative. Overall, it was a good stay.
Two things I did not like about the house were a washing machine and bugs.
Because there were small kids, I had to use a washing machine and it was really dirty: mold was visible and it smelled awful. I wanted to buy my own detergent for mold, but Lung's drug did not have it. My husband rubbed it with a regular laundry detergent and I had to cycle the machine couple of times before I use it. All the towels at the house smelled awful and I found out that it was because of that washing machine.
And every night at a bathroom on the first floor, I encountered a cockroach. It was really unfortunate. I am not sure if this house needs a pest control or cockroaches are just everywhere in Kauai. Luckily, they were not found on the 2nd floor where my parents and my cousins stayed. I did not tell them about it, so, other family members were all happy about the house.
Kauai was humid and hot when we stayed there on May and staying at the house without A/C was not easy. We cooked every dinner and got sweaty easily. I heard that many homes at Kauai don't have A/C. So, I don't complain, but if there was A/C it would have been a lot better.

Location, quality of accommodation, service and cleanliness are all first class. 5 to 8 minute walk to high end shopping center with great dining and drinking venues (amazing happy hour options). Koloa shops and restaurants 10 minute drive. 5 minutes to Baby Beach even with umbrellas, towels, toys and two year old in tow. Good surfing beach a bit further along. Everything works(wifi, tvs, appliances etc) washer/dryer combo big enough to handle daily wash for 10+. I felt really comfortable quietly sitting on deck at midnight just listening to waves. All my queries and questions were responded to quickly. I really donât have a reason not to go back.
