Located in Burlington, this lovely house for $110 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. Are you looking for a clean, stylish and comfortable private space to stay in Burlington? You have found the perfect spot. Our beautifully remodeled suite is located in the heart of South Burlington. There is a separate entrance to access our stylish 1 bedroom suite suitable for 2 people. You will immediately feel at home in the space with it’s warm inviting color palette and stylish finishings. We are open to both short term and long term stays. Bring your own devices or borrow the fire stock for Netflix and Prime, unlimited wifi and use of laundry facilities. A welcoming entrance is open to a lovely dining area and a cozy living room with an electric fireplace and large comfortable couch. The private beach-inspired bathroom includes shower, vanity with plenty of storage with towels provided. The kitchen is cozy and includes toaster oven, induction stovetop, and fridge, and has everything you need for simple meal preparation. The bedroom is tucked away at the opposite end of the suite from the living area and includes plush duvet and sheets and plenty of pillows for a restful sleep. In addition, there is plenty of storage in the bedroom within the closet and chest of drawers. You are welcome to enjoy the spacious backyard which might include sipping your morning coffee or an afternoon beverage in the large covered entertainment area including towels, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, kitchen supplies and change room. In the summer months enjoy our outdoor salt water heated pool until 11pm. surrounded by lovely gardens. Our property is convenient to many areas in the Greater Toronto Hamilton Area. We are perfectly located 7 minutes from downtown Burlington (Joseph Brant Hospital), 2 minutes from QEW or HWY 407, 15 minutes to downtown Oakville, or downtown Hamilton (Mac Master University/Hospital). Within walking distance from our house are a few local favorites; there is Jacksons Landing, Saving Thyme, local pubs & eateries, grocery stores & drug stores. There are 3 excellent shopping centers within 5 minute drive as well. If you are vacationing in the area and looking for a home base between Niagara Falls and Toronto this is the perfect spot. Niagara Falls, one of the Seven Wonders of the World is 40 minutes away via QEW West as is Niagara-on-the-Lake (Shaw Festival) and more wineries than you can imagine. Toronto is just 30 minutes east by Go Train or 45 minutes east by car on the QEW East. The closest Go Train Station is Appleby station providing access to Toronto within 30 minutes with access to Toronto Island, Ripley's Aquarium, Eaton Center, The ROM, Toronto Science Center & Toronto Zoo. Absolutely beautiful property, great location. The owner goes above & beyond to make sure you have everything you need and more!! Very friendly host who provides many extras during your stay. Gorgeous pool and back yard. The unit was very comfortable for 2 adults. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and chatting with the owner. Would highly recommend renting this unit to anyone!! She is a SUPER host for sure. Thank you so much!!

*I rented this unit from the 14-19 of July
*check in time was changed without notification to when my unit would be ready
*After 11pm you will be risking your safety trying to stumble up stairs into darkness, walk to pool also in darkness, 150 or more feet from back of house
*No CABLE , No Ice machine, Not a Heated pool as advertised
* HEATER TO POOL WAS OFF ON ARRIVAL AND I WAS DENIED THIS FEATURE
*verbal agreements were then changed, like permission to smoke out back or at the back door by my unit.
*I was verbally insulted in front of guests for my smoking habit
*I was there a total of 33 hours and left due to denied amenities like cable, heated pool and lighting for safety
*Cyndi seemed to be not on property when needed on several occasions
*she ignored me on several concerns
*customer service was no help even as I write this review on the 19th of July
*I have taken a full screen shot of this review as I doubt I will be posted and it will added to my files
*If you have any physical disabilities THIS IS NOT THE PLACE FOR YOU. Trying to drag luggage over the dark unlit path through garden that has slate stone and gravel in between each stone, uneven stones were a trip hazard as they were not flush to ground.

This spacious and beautifully appointed basement apartment is perfect as a quiet base when visiting the Burlington area. I was working rather than vacationing, so I appreciated the small office area and kitchenette. The electric BBQ made for a nice grilled chicken as a special treat!

Excellent attention to detail
I booked Cyndi’s place for my mom, and out worked out very well. The basement apartment is very spacious and beautifully designed to create a cozy and welcome environment. Cyndi goes the extra mile to ensure a comfortable stay - even leaving treats to welcome her guests!

A perfect home away from home
I had an absolutely amazing stay at Cyndi's place. The unit is well stocked and super cosy, and as a host Cyndi goes above and beyond. I was staying here close to the holidays and I arrived to a festively decorated unit - an unexpected and very thoughtful touch.
The location is great, internet was speedy (worked here for a week with zero issues), the couch is extremely comfortable, and there was nothing that I needed that wasn't available in the unit.
I would recommend this place to stay to anyone! Highly recommend.

Amazing Experience
Cyndi certainly knows how to put the 'S' into Superhost!
Cyndi's place is amazing. It was a joy to wake up & enjoy coffee in her beautifully kept gardens, getting back to nature with the squirrels, rabbits & fabulous bird life.
Cyndi went above & beyond our expectations, preparing a welcome supper & table set for two for us & complimentary wine. The property is immaculate & the aesthetics of the interior were even nicer in person than the photos online. Location was perfect for us, a walkable distance to local park & lakefront. lots of local malls & choices a short drive away.

My husband and I Decided not to travel for our honeymoon because of the Covid restrictions so we decided to rent a house with a pool instead and we have no regrets.
Location is great, everything is close by. At first we weren’t crazy about Staying in a basement but we said not a big deal because we will mostly be outside however once we entered the basement we were totally amazed! We had actually planned to go out and get some swim before the sun went down but once we sat on the big comfy couch we decided we were going to pass and just relax there and start fresh in the morning. We even ended up passing out on it because of how comfy it was!
The basement is so cozy, super clean and pretty much has everything you need including extra things that we didn’t expect like snacks, robes, new house slippers and a really cute dessert with watermelon heart in the middle which set the mood for our honeymoon! It was absolutely delicious by the way!
The supply of towels was extraordinary, the tv a great size, The air conditioning was working perfectly and there was an endless supply of fresh clean water to drink as well!
I can’t say enough good things about the way the basement was set up for us but even more so Cyndi herself is so kind, the landscape on her property is absolutely beautiful. We really enjoyed the backyard where we were free to bbq and enjoy the pool. She had lots of beautiful flowers and bushes that attracted butterflies and it was absolutely stunning. We took really nice pictures on a cute bench behind her beautiful garden. There was perfect amount of sun and when you had enough of the sun there was a great amount of shade with seating and a full sized table to eat on, super cozy. She had a spacious shed that we got access to with a full sized fridge which was super convenient. She was so generous and told us help ourselves to some drinks she had in there! There were outlets in her backyard which was so handy for charging your phone. She also had an osculating fan out there which we used to keep flies away from us while we were eating. She was even nice enough to set up a beautiful dinner setting for us with plates, glassware and utensils which id say was going way above and beyond as far as hosting goes. Super intimate and beautiful night lights in case you want to sit there after sundown!
Overall we really enjoyed our stay, it exceeded our expectations so we highly recommend staying here ! Thank you again Cyndi!

Perfect place to stay
We recently stayed here for 6 weeks during a home reno and Cyndi was nothing short of amazing. Given COVID, my husband and I are both working from home and she helped us set up a separate quiet space in the back room so we could get some space when we were both on calls at the same time. Wifi was great and the bed is very comfortable! Cyndi was extremely responsive and had pretty much everything we could think of to make our stay comfortable. One suggestion for people that are big into tv (like we are), I would recommend getting a connector so you can hook your iPad or laptop up to the tv to watch Netflix or Prime. The tv is a good size but it's not a smart tv so you don't have access to those services. Very comfortable place to stay and, I imagine, even better in the summer with the pool. :)

Amazing Stay!
This property is wonderful! It was very clean and fully equipped with everything you need. The robes were a wonderful touch. We enjoyed the pool surrounded by beautiful gardens and was very private. We can't wait to stay here again. Thanks Cyndi!

Great Experience
It was our first time using VRBO and our host was helpful and accommodating during our month long stay that included a 2 week isolation due to the coronavirus cross border policy. The house was clean and comfortable and our host had purchased several things including wine in advance of our arrival to help us through the first 2 weeks. A very nice person that takes care in her property.

Wonderful!
As soon as we walked in the door, it felt like home! Cyndi thought of absolutely everything. She also left breakfast treats for us the first morning and came with a delicious loaf at mid week. My mother slept in the bed and I slept on the couch. It was most comfortable - had great sleeps for the week we were there. We will definitely be back!

After spending the first five nights in hotel rooms, our stay at the High Road was a welcome change. Cyndi has clearly thought through every detail to provide every comfort for your stay. I would not hesitate to stay with her again if we find ourselves back in the area.

Amazing Stay!
My husband and I stayed at this property for six nights to visit our son. The moment we walked through the door, we loved it! From all the treats left by Cyndi, the breakfast that was left for us to enjoy, to the great hospitality and many comforts of home, nothing could have made our stay any better. The beautiful pool and garden was enjoyed by all of us and was an added bonus! Cyndi was the best hostess ever. I would recommend this property to anyone who wants a nice, clean and quiet location.

Cozy Accommodations and Genial Host!
My husband and I are from Nova Scotia. We were in Burlington for my nephew’s wedding at Paletta Mansion and this property was the perfect location - only a couple of minutes from the venue.
Check-in was a breeze. The space had everything we needed...and more - Cyndi went above and beyond to ensure that we felt welcomed and comfortable.
We are vegan and she took the time to leave us some menus for local vegan restaurants and to supply us with some vegan goodies (muffins, chips, salsa, hummus, etc.), which was greatly appreciated. Although we did not cook while there, the kitchen was well stocked and equipped to make simple meals.
The bed was comfortable...and we have to mention the couch...big, soft, and oh so comfy! Now that we are home, we miss that couch!!
Cozy seating area just above the entrance, and the pool area was very inviting (and well used on our end - thank you for sharing this spot with us Cyndi!). Lot’s of magazines and books provided within the unit to read by the pool (or on that awesome couch!).
Also...we loved meeting Cyndi’s doggy Charlie, such a little cutie! :)
Overall, Cyndi is a very generous and kindhearted host. Thanks to Cyndi, this trip was relaxing and memorable.
We will definitely stay here again if in the area!

Highly recommend!
My husband and I stayed for 5 nights as a vacation (we're from the US) and as a way to start researching Ontario as a possible retirement location for us in the next few years. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The accommodations were great and the hospitality was even better! Great place to stay
Good place to stay. Very cozy. Cyndi was a great host and made the stay for our first anniversary special with flowers, chocolates, and a card. She also helped us with finding nice places to eat since we weren't familiar with the area. The only little hiccup we had was that the toilet backed up and leaked all over the floor. She asked us to clean it up which isn't a huge deal but I would recommend her getting a cleaning service of some kind because I'm not trying to deal with things like that when on vacation. But everything else was perfect. Thank you Cyndi for all your hospitality.

Perfect
My husband and I stayed for two weeks in February 2019 at Cyndi’s retreat while we waited for our new condo to be finished. All of these reviews are exactly right. Everything was perfect and exactly as described. We have stayed at VRBO locations in several countries over many years and Cyndi’s is one of the best. She does spoil you. There was yoghurt, fruit, fresh almond scones and granola for our first breakfast. On a particular cold day she brought us home-made soup with rolls. She was generous with supplies and made sure that the walks were shovelled and salt laid down every day. The fireplace was very warm and inviting on the cold winter nights. Our only regret is that we didn’t get to use the pool. It is situated in a quiet spot at the back of the property and looked very inviting even in the snow. Good location with lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance. Thanks Cyndi.

Perfect
We just finished a 10 week stay at Cyndi’s rental while we waited for our new condo to be finished. It could not have been more perfect. The unit was spotlessly clean, beautifully furnished, extremely comfortable, and well equipped, and all in a beautiful south Burlington neighbourhood. It was difficult to be out of our home, but Cyndi is so warm and welcoming, the time flew by. I would not hesitate to recommend this rental to anyone. Peaceful Retreat in a Quiet, Charming Neighborhood
This property delivered exactly what was promised and more. Situated in a quiet neighborhood with mature trees and tastefully cared for yards. The suite was very well appointed with all the amenities required for a short or long term stay. The suite was immaculately clean and the bed was very comfortable. The location provided excellent options to walk and run in safety on well protected sidewalks and trails. The warm weather during my stay allowed me to enjoy the private backyard pool. Several grocery and convenience stores are a mere short walk away. The owner provided exceptional customer service and made my stay all the more memorable. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a quiet weekend getaway or as a longer term alternative to a hotel. I would stay again.

Absolutely Phenomenal Property and Host! Hospitality was Wonderful!
Everything was perfect! Cyndi was a wonderful host. She went above and beyond to make everything perfect! The property was absolutely beautiful and perfect! Cyndi is a great host! She left us breakfast and movie snacks. The pool area was awesome and very clean. Burlington was a very beautiful city. The neighborhood was super nice. I felt extremely safe in the city and neighborhood. I would highly recommend checking out Saving Thyme and Jackson's Landing. We spent some additional time exploring Devil's Punch Bowl and the nearby local store that offered pies/fresh produce. I would absolutely recommend Cyndi's property to everyone.

Never going back to a hotel !
It was my mother-in-laws first time in Canada and this was the perfect introduction to the country. The homeowner went above and beyond to make her feel comfortable. Even though the suite is set up as a duplex attached to the homeowners home, I could not have pictured something greater. I admit I didn't want to tell anyone else about this place so I could always stay here when I was in town.

Exceptional accommodation
I stayed for a one month period and couldn't have been more pleased with the accommodation. The layout and decorating was first class, along the lines of Joanne and Chip Gaines from HGTV. There were numerous thoughtful touches throughout. The office desk area was supplied with stationery/envelopes/pens/pencils, etc. There were supplies in the pantry and refrigerator to get me started for breakfast. There were grooming supplies and plenty of towels in the bathroom. The washer and dryer worked well. The living area was so comfortable. A big bonus was access to the inground pool and sitting area in the back yard. A couple of really good restaurants are nearby (a couple minutes by car) as well as the Appleby Village shopping area. Cyndi was a gracious and kind host and communication was quick throughout. I highly recommend Cyndi's apartment.
