Excellent facilities and for 3 couples reasonable price. Three bedrooms with their own ensuite.

The property was excellent. Full kitchen, stereo TV with free Netflix ecc, felt like being at the pictures at night when sitting back and relaxing. Hosts were very helpful, met us at the property gave us the run down of the property and also suggestions of what we could see. John came and fixed up a problem with one of the shower heads.

Hot water for the showers , sometimes took awhile to come through?

Exceptional property presentation, facilities and value. Customer service could be improved.

Property was exceptionally presented, with great facilities and location.

Reached out to the host regarding the possibility of late cancellation due to recent emergency surgery (with copy of hospital certificate), and found the response quite impersonal/unprofessional. Understand that flexibility may not be possible however the same message could have been delivered with some empathy and professionalism instead of "Hi sorry to hear that but if l did that for everyone that asks we would be broke now". Also not a fan of the host meeting us on arrival to tour the property/explain how things work (e.g. dishwasher, tv) - could be done via written notes as we've seen in other properties as all pretty self-explanatory and felt somewhat condescending. Have since looked at previous reviews and can see why Hosts consider this is useful, but would suggest this be an option offered ahead of check-in rather than a given. Otherwise, property and our stay overall was great.

NO PRIVACY AS OWNERS WATCHED EVERY STEP YOU MADE BECAUSE THEY STAYED IN OTHER PROPERTY NEXT DOOR .

I would Never book this property again . If you want to be stalked by owners watching every move you make and have your privacy taken away from you book this place !

Messages from owners via txt messages wanting to know a time on arrival after check in time 3pm . When on arrival pulled into drive way after a 6 hour drive and was greeted by owner waving at us with the door open . We booked online through booking.com for 2 Adults and was messaged by owners that they wanted to meet on arrival to see if 2 people ONLY was checking in .... After getting out of our vehicle we get told to come in and was taking around the property to been shown how to open kitchen draws , how to use the grill , how the heater works , where the bowls are . How to open curtains and turn on bed lights , this took 15 mins .... ( if you needed the toielt after a long drive good luck with that . You might get the owners showing you how to flush ) . I thought I booked the whole executive studio however was asked " would I be using the other bedroom " ? We said No so the other rooms are locked .... The fire place in main lounge was broken , The main TV has a lock on Volume for surround sound , The free WiFi is very slow had to use our own data . The Balcony has no under cover so couldn't use it as it rained all weekend . Very slippery floor aswell . The room downstairs was locked only had access to one bedroom. The hot water in shower is controlled and is like a dripping tape on your body. The bed is not that big so enjoy elbows in your face while sleeping . Now to the next encounter of owners . We had roller door up to move our luggage into property , when owner came to roller door and said to my husband " A young mistake don't leave roller door quarter of the way up because you might forget and reserve into door that's how roller doors are broken " then asked " where you from " ? And walked off to next door . No introduction that he was the Owner of the property . RUDE & This was a breach of our privacy " . Next morning I went out the front door and I locked myself out .

It was nice property and location. Well worth the money.

Nice and clean.

Upon arrival we were forced to come out of cars all together especially when we have little kids, so they can do a head count. Where as we could have warmed up the house a bit before taking the kids inside. Quite strange, never seen anything like this before. Living area Tv too slow to navigate around.

The kitchen sink mixer had a bad leak. Couldn’t open windows in main bedroom.

Affordable luxury

Very spacious double storey property with access from street level (no need to use stairs unless you need a third bedroom) and a large balcony (shaded in the afternoon). Good views over suburban homes to the countryside. Ample glassware, cutlery, crockery and cooking pots as well as cooking equipment. Very comfortable and large bed. Ensuite and extra bathroom. Free Netflix (enourmous TV) and wifi. Reclining lounge and armchairs, plenty of pillows. Lots of mirrors. Quiet neighbourhood. Earlier Check-in on request. Games. Mt Gambier has a lot to offer.

Communication with the owner could have been better, we had to seek information about entering the property less than 24hrs before arrival which caused some stress. Luckily we were contacted via a phone and met on site. The place was not quite ready when we arrived but we only had to wait 5-10min.

Amazing!!

Amazing!! So much nicer than I expected! The property has been immaculately maintained, was spotless and everything in working order. Absolutely everything you could possibly need was there. Location was lovely and quiet. Will definitely book again if we are over that way again!

It was a very memorable stay for the whole family.

We were met on arrival by the host and given a guided tour of all the facilities, the house rules and guidance on how to use the equipment etc. The house was much larger than we expected and had plenty of room for our small family. It has plenty of cutlery, plates, etc. for a small army. Plenty of storage space all over the house (too much for a short stay like ours). Would have been good if some things like foil/glad wrap, salt/pepper. etc. was available like in other places we have been. There were a few items that had been leftover by previous visitors in one cupboard. We once got locked out when we exited via the garage and forgot to unlock the manual lock on the front door before we left and didn't have the remote with us. The hosts got the cleaner who was cleaning the house next door at the time to collect the spare remote and let us in. We spent a lot of time watching movies on the big screen sitting down on the comfortable recliners. Although the weather was not good for us, we could still enjoy the beautiful views out from the balcony.

The place may be starting to ware off a little bit with the continuous use by visitors. The shower in the master bathroom is starting to rust in the hard water in Mt Gambier and was spraying out a bit to the window and a bit towards the vanity. Hopefully the hosts will get this fixed soon.

Heaven, it was cheaper then a cabin at the caravan park also. we will be back.

The townhouse was super spacious and bigger then normal houses , property layout and the amenities where great too. Owners where amazing to deal with, very accommodating and went above and beyond. The weather was crazy and very very wet, having the access to garage from house with remote control roller door was bliss on this weekend. Our family of 5 stayed here, having 3 bathrooms made it bliss.

Apart from the rain we had a great stay.

The property we stayed at was excellent and the hosts require positive feedback for their effort

Currently renovating my home so my comments are based on my future renovations. Main shower head needs CLR and I wouldn't have square toilets. That is all.

Not bad for a Gambier travel stay

Clean, tidy, well equipped place

Staff can be very particular. It is hard to have a lot of fun and thinking little about chores at home when your accommodation for leisure has many little rules

Really high quality accommodation. Warm, comfortable, spacious, well lit, laundry facilities, well thought out kitchen appliances and utensils. Lovely ensuite (bring your own soap or body wash) Tea, coffee, milk supplied and a range of bits and pieces in the pantry cupboard. Very quiet and peaceful. Highly recommended

The apartment was amazing, very large, modern, really cozy. It would be perfect to spend more time there.

The communication felt a little unprofessional. The repeated statements on how it's absolutely impossible to check in before the official time. Insisting on a phone call on an Australian phone number (we had just one in a wi-fi modem, so it was cumbersome to get it) to give us check in instructions which could have been given in a 2-sentence message. It was just a bit weird.
