About this house rental
Situated in Bullhead City, this attractive house for $500 per night is a great option for your next break. Our Riverfront home is located in Bullhead City Arizona across from the casinos in Laughlin Nevada. Our four-bedroom three bath home is ideally located five miles south of the casinos on the Arizona side of the Colorado river. This 2700 sq. foot spacious home has been remodeled. The entire house is equipped with a whole house air purification system for your comfort and safety (https://rgf.com/test-results/ ).The kitchen has new cabinets, counter tops, drinking water filtration system, refrigerator, and dishwasher. The kitchen has all you would need to prepare that special meal. The entire house has new flooring. All the bathrooms have been updated. The house is fully equipped with all linens, paper goods, soaps, and cooking utensils. Our vacation rental has two master suites both with king size beds and two additional bedrooms one with queen and the other one with a king size bed. There is a queen sofa sleeper in the downstairs family room and in the upstairs living room. The upstairs master bathroom has a large, jetted tub plus a large shower and double sinks. The large upstairs guest bathroom has a tub with a shower over it also has double sinks. The living room dining room and kitchen are both on the entry level on the first floor. The large living room which is equipped with a 60'' RokuT.V, Fireplace, and a wet bar, opens to a full-length deck with a propane BBQ, propane firepit, propane heater and large dinning table. The adjoining dinning room also has an unobstructed river view. The second master bedroom is located downstairs with a large window overlooking the river and an adjoining bathroom with a tub and shower over. The family room on the lower level has a game table and a 42’’T.V. with a large picture window overlooking the river and downstairs deck The deck is equipped with a gas fire pit, seating area, with direct access to the sandy beach and river. The beach has a wood burning firepit with ample seating. The floating dock has three jetski ports plus room to tie up a 20’ boat it also has seating for two on the dock The laundry room is a separate room off the garage. The three-car garage has an additional refrigerator, two exercise machines and weights. We have also supplied an air compressor to inflate your water toys.

Unfortunately, we didn't have the best experience. We walked in to a flooded home due to a pipe break in the bathroom. Obviously out of the owners control. But we traveled from California to celebrate my husbands birthday and we really had no other place to go so we had no choice but to stay. We got in pretty late, but we swept out most of the water and a restoration company came out the following day and put out loud fans that had to run all night and day to dry the place out. But aside from all of that, we first noticed the house was overly cluttered with older decor, and with alot of stuff comes dust and cob webs that were EVERYWHERE! As if nobody had come in to clean the home in years! There were cockaroach droppings in the kitchen drawers, the refrigerator was filthy, the master shower did not work, the oven didn't work, the wifi did not work and the bbq outside was not clean or provided with propane, so we had to go out and buy one. It was so unfortunate as we paid quite a bit of money to stay here, and we only got refunded less than half the amount we paid. If we had another option to just go elsewhere we would have, but we couldn't, so we tried to make the best of it. We did enjoy the backyard right on the lake, where we tried to spend most of our time. They had a beautiful set up and there was a perfect sandy beach spot. This home has so much potential, And if the cleanliness of the home and the utilities were kept up. I would definitely reccomend.

The condition of the house when we arrived AFTER our 4pm check-in time on our scheduled date:
-house not cleaned;
-dirty linens in bedrooms;
-dirty towels in bathrooms and laundry room;
-bathrooms - trashcans full of trash;
-dirty kitchen counters;
-dirty and unsanitized refrigerators;
-trash in garage
-lock to gate leading to the beach jammed and eventually had to use a powertool to remove it (thank goodness my husband knew how to use it) - not owner's fault but it just added to our disappointment because the kids wanted to play on the beach
My reaction:
-I immediately called owner who said he would get hold of a cleaning crew and call back, which he did and said crew would arrive in about 20 minutes;
-crew arrived 1 hour 10 minutes later;
-most of my family left the house to let cleaning crew do their job;
-me and my family are tired and hungry after having a commute well over 4 hours;
-called owner back to get some compensation for the loss of time we paid for this house and he refused to compensate the day and said I was being UNREASONABLE;
-both him and I agreed on $200 credit but I was very disappointed since we had been to this house a few times before COVID and my family and I were excited to be back.
We traveled with 4 children under the age of 8; they were tired, hot, and hungry. We were ready to shower and settle for the evening but had to deal with this huge inconvenience for all of us so the least owner could have done is compensate the first day of our stay.
My family and I were very excited to return to this house but excitement turned into disappointment with the owner's reaction when he stated that we were being unreasonable.

Beach is amazing
The beach at this property is one of the best. There is lots of room for pop ups, chairs, etc. Having the private dock was really nice since we had a jet ski.

Another fantastic stay!
Been coming to this property for many years. Gary is an excellent host. House has everything you need. There was a minor issue with the A/C and Gary was there immediately to fix the problem. Planning next year’s trip already! Thank you again for having us!

The location of this property is amazing! I go yearly to bullhead and this property by far had the best beach for kids and adults to enjoy a nice relaxing time in the water. House was beautiful and a lot bigger than the pictures. I can’t wait to book this property for our next trip!!

The house was amazing, the location was as well. Couldn’t leave our boats in the water over night due to low tide was our only issue. Launch ramp close by and convenient. Can’t wait to go back next year!

Words cannot describe the beauty of this river house. You have to stay and see it for yourself.
This charming home was a breathtaking getaway for my family of 12. The house was absolutely perfect, and exquisite just as described. The owner did a fantastic job at providing a welcoming place with tasteful decor, soft bath towels and of course comfortable bedding. All amenities needed were easily accessible. The kitchen, dining room and living room were spacious giving all of us room to comfortably lounge inside. The balconies we my favorite part of the house with serene views of the gorgeous river, mountains, desert and wildlife. The private beach gave us a the ability to lay in the sand and cool off in the water. The private dock gave us easy access to our personal water craft to enjoy in the river. I cannot wait to come back next. Thank you for making our vacation absolutely perfect.

Best Location on the River!
Beautiful large home with a gorgeous private beach and dock right on the river. Our family had a great time; the kids LOVED jumping off the dock into the water and having your own beach was so convenient! The house had everything - just bring your swimsuits, food, and booze! We will be back again soon!

We had such a great stay at Gary's river rental! I felt the pics didn't do it justice. So spacious and the location on the river is great!! Kids loved the beach area. Wish we could have enjoyed the cool decks outside but it was way too hot for it, the river was steps away to cool down!! Everyone in our group were happy with the house and the amenities! We definitely will be back!! Thank you so much Gary!!
