Un séjour parfait dans un chalet en bois rond au Costa Rica !

La grandeur des appartements, la cuisine très bien équipée, la piscine et ses installations et l’intimité du site a l’extérieur des bruits de Samara, mais à moins de 5 minutes en voiture! Merci à notre hôte qui nous a servi un délicieux pain aux bananes à notre arrivée et qui avait pris soin de laisser de l’eau fraîche au frigo ainsi que des glaçons!

De petites fourmis avaient envahis la table, les comptoirs et un des deux lits …

Fabulous!!! Maite was such a kind hostess too.

Everything!!! A gorgeous place. The was even Birthday decorations and cake was made for my husband. Christmas decor around too, just such a lovely place.

Very comfortable, homely cabin to relax in

The cabin was very cute and homely. The air conditioning worked very well, and even though it’s two beds in one room they are on opposite sides, with the kitchen in the middle so it doesn’t feel like you’re right next to each other at all. Maite was lovely and very attentive (and her banana bread delicious!).

There were very tiny ants that came into the kitchen if we put dirty dishes in the sink, but I think that’s to be expected in a hot country.

Great pool and house. Clean, comfortable, beautiful place with lovely gardenwell located and very helpful staff. The AC is wonderful. Definitely to repeat.

The hob only works with induction pans but they had 2 that worked there.

quiet and remote escape with love for details

great atmosphere in a quiet area. the place is very neat and the communication was fast and friendly

unfortunately quite a walk to the city and beach. the on-site staff hardly spoke any english

Great stay if you want an authentic experience away from the crowds.

Cool boutique hotel with charming hosts and owners. Great local feel. Safe and comfy. The pool was awesome. Breakfast was great. The owner did everything even our laundry and her son spoke English and was very helpful. He gave us a great suggestion for a sunset view.

Pretty far from town if you dont have a car. Maybe 1.5km but it was worth it to be away. Not too close to the beach.

Super cosy Cabañas decorated with a lot of love for detail. The property is situated in a lovely quiet residential area only a couple of 100 meters from Buena Vista Beach. If you are lucky you can see freshly hatched turtles there.

In some of the doors seem to open in the wrong direction and hence do not open all the way

It was nice!

The property is very green and lush. The cabins are made in a unique wood cabin style. I loved the pool area, however unfortunately we didn’t have time to hangout there. The breakfast was very yummy! They are also accommodating for vegans, which was great.

The property is a little far from the city. We had a car so it didn’t affect us much, but you have to pass through a long dirt road going there. The walls are extremely thin so you hear everything. After about 7-8 there were families from seems to be the next door property ha going out by the pool and it get every noisy. Also there is a constructing going on not too far away, so si would n’t recommend for early risers.

I had a beautiful stay, enjoyed the space, guests, and vibe. It’s like a little oasis.

The breakfast was gorgeous! There are three options eggs and rice combination, toasts jams and jellies, and fruit, and granola fruit and yogurt. All made by Maite the owner. She and her son Miguel are very kind and attentive to detail. The art and quotes around the property are sweet, creative, and allow the intention of the property to be felt. I would stay there again it was a very special experience.

I wish there had been more food offered but delivery from several restaurants which were great. As well as walking to the town and beach we’re very easy.

Too far from town. Very little selection for breakfast (only 4 dishes, with no meat). The “toast” aka:warm bread with no butter was the best option.

Such heart and soul of Costa Rica!!

relaxing oasis in a busy little surf town! Maite and Miguel were incredible hosts, offering suggestions of the perfect beaches to explore on the Nicoya Peninsula, cervezas for happy hour, incredible breakfasts and lovely conversation.

I left my heart in Samara at Cabañas Lamaite

Everything! We liked Mikel's local recommendations first of all, the breakfast, available bottles of water, the wooden design and decorations, detailed thinking to make it a hotel that makes you feel home, our room, the pool and the cozy environment in the garden and and and.. There is love in this place!

Nothing I can think of. This was our best stay in Costa Rica from all perspectives: the hotel, the town, the beach.

Lovely place

The place is beautiful, very detailed oriented with artistic touches. The location is excellent for playa Samara. Breakfast was delicious and staff is beyond polite. Would definitely love to be back!

Beautiful site with friendly staff.

The grounds are great. The breakfast was awesome and the pool amazing. It was very safe and quiet.

The road to the site is HORRIBLE! It is a bit far from down town but not too far to hike. The mattress was a bit lumpy.
