Beautiful location. Spacious and comfortable. Yvonne, the host, was so lovely and welcoming. This was a perfect accommodation in beautiful grounds. We were also met by a sloth in the car park which just added to the magic of the place.

We stayed at Cabinas Tito and overall it’s fantastic value for money. If you’re visiting Cahuita on a budget, this is definitely a strong option.
For the price, you get a lot. There is an outdoor kitchen with almost all the equipment you need, plus air conditioning and WiFi. The kitchen facilities cover most basic needs, and everything works as it should. We paid only $82 for one night for 4 people, which is really a very good price. For budget travelers, it’s hard to beat.
There are many mosquitoes, and for some reason the owner keeps the room door open before check-in. Luckily, there is a mosquito net over the bed, but if you’re in the room outside the net, you will get bitten.
The door has a strange lock that slams shut and can lock you out. If you’re traveling with children, this can be an issue. Our 4-year-old accidentally locked himself inside the cabin, and we had to call the owner to help us.
The owner also has several dogs. They growl and jump up on guests, so if you’re traveling with children or are afraid of dogs, this is something to be aware of.

You are right in the middle of the jungle and will see a ton of wildlife. We saw lots of birds, monkeys, and green poison dart frogs everywhere. Just remember you are in nature so enjoy the beauty of all the little critters. The host is very nice too! They come and clean your room daily. It's very rustic, with cool woodwork and a pretty yard to walk through.
Our room was a little dirty. The tile and walls of the bathroom were not the cleanest. The outdoor kitchen had an electric pan that does not work very well, and whoever used the cooking-ware before didn't clean it so we had to clean everything we used before cooking.

The property is beautiful. Very clean accommodations with AC.
Every morning we were awakened to the raking of rocks, people talking loudly, and some lady was screaming loudly at one of the workers! I literally woke up to a young man raking rocks at 7 am right in the front of my cabin. If you want peace and quiet and minimal privacy, this place does not offer such. In addition, we needed to wash 1/2 loads of clothes and they offered to do so for 17 USD! Price gouging at its finest!
