Amazing wildlife

Waking up to howler monkeys’ calls in the morning and seeing exotic wildlife on your doorstep is amazing. We saw iguana, sloths, monkeys and frogs from our cabin.

The beds and pillows are really hard so didn’t sleep very well.

Nice and good value for money stay a short walk from town!

Very quiet and secluded property, we loved the amount of animals we could see round the pool area - watched monkeys swing through trees for hours!

The rooms can get very hot with no air conditioning, but the fans are good enough most of the time!

We loved staying here. It was our favourite accommodation in Costa Rica

Fantastic grounds. We saw lots of wildlife from our cabin including frogs, agouti, toucans and monkeys. Fridge in the room was nice. The pool whilst not huge was great for a dip and somewhere nice to sit after being out during the day. Shared kitchen was good. Hostess was helpful and accommodating. We wished to stay for an additional night and this was easily arranged. We were able to store our luggage before checking in initially and whilst changing rooms.

A kettle in the shared kitchen would have been nice and possibly air conditioning rather than fans in the cabins.

Very good stay and staff was very nice!

The staff was great and they even drove me to the bus station on the day of my departure, amazing! The pool is very nice after a day of hiking in the national park, you are surrounded by nature and might even see an iguana or coatis running around.

It is slightly outside of the centre of Cahuita, which is perfectly fine (and even better) if you have a car but if you’re like me and doesn’t have a car, you might want to rent a bike tomorrow get around.
