We like how close it was to the beach, and the amount of monkeys and sloths that we saw right from the front porch

The location is amazing - right in the edge of Cahuita national park - you are surrounded by nature without entering the national park. Close to beaches - the national park back you have to pay to enter but you can drive a little bit up the road and find lovely beaches too for free
We stayed in both the main house and the little bungalows. By far my favourite were the bungalows. Small but perfectly formed - but as a family of 5 it was handy to have the house with cooking facilities and a TV

Wildlife everywhere, saw more here than in the park
Beds could be more comfortable, but given the humidity in the area understandable they’re not super plush

Great little budget accommodation, only a couple of minutes' walk from Cahuita park and the village itself.
Great gardens with lots of wildlife including capuchin monkeys, howlers and birds . At night there are lots of frogs at the property pond. As per other reviews, we saw more wildlife here than in the park itself
