It was super cute and quaint!!! Location was perfect, nice and quiet too. Plus the old key and lock had me feeling like I stepped back in time!
No fan to help circulate air on hot days. The doorway in small so watch you head. My partner hit his head 3 times in 2 days.

Fantastic communication from the moment we booked, offering helpful tips for arrival and for places to eat. Beautiful room, well furnished and clean, great shower. Hallstatt is stunning and we relished the chance to explore late evening and early in the morning before the hoardes of day-trippers arrived. Literally everything in the town closes at 6pm apart from restaurants in hotels so if you haven't booked somewhere you'll struggle. Even in the one we had booked we felt that they were rushing us to eat so they could close.
I agree with other reviews that a fan would be a nice addition. I think if we'd stayed another night I'd have felt a bit claustrophobic but cannot fault the room or the hosts. Thank you.
