About this apartment rental
Imagine waking up in the morning to the soothing sound of the gentle lapping of waves on the beach. Only seconds later from your Studio, you could be enjoying the first swim of the day in the incredibly blue & calm sea of Hoopers Bay - undisturbed by any other people.
Later, take out one of our kayaks to further explore the bay or spend some time snorkeling.
Too much activity? Then just relax & unwind on one of our beach loungers or sea-floats until time comes for a cool drink.

Our BEACHFRONT Economical Studio/Efficiency has a Queen bed, kitchenette with 2 hot rings, fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee maker etc etc. Shower room with WC and Handbasin, dining table and chairs, Loveseat, A/C and ceiling fan, flat screen STARLINK TV and WIFI.
We were pleased to have previously won the travellers choice, and certificates of excellence awards for many years from the largest worldwide trip advisory site and based on our guests satisfaction.
Outside there is a private sea-facing patio with outdoor table and chairs for relaxing or al-fresco meals.
Just a few seconds through our palm tree garden is the beautiful Hoopers Bay beach-regarded as the BEST TO STAY ON EXUMA .
The 1/2 mile ( 1km ) long, soft white sandy beach slopes gently into the amazing blue, calm and safe sea for swimming, snorkeling, or relaxing on our loungers and chairs. For the more energetic, we have FREE Kayaks for our guests to enjoy exploring more of the protected bay.
Although we are quietly located, the International airport is only 10 minutes away whilst the capital, George Town is 6 minutes away. No need to drive or taxi to shops as we have a good range within a 5 minute easy walk for groceries, butcher and deli, pharmacy and liquor.
Flying to George Town airport ( GGT ) is straightforward with DIRECT daily flights on AA & Delta. Air Canada has DIRECT flights from Toronto during the winter season. More locally, there are several flights each day from Nassau on Bahamasair or Western Air.
As we live nearby, we personally welcome our guests and are available when required to help with information or to arrange activities such as boat trips, etc.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay in Peter & Betty's studio apartment. The amenities were just what we needed and the location was perfect! We spent our mornings on the patio and lounged beachside till dark. Great property and great hosts!

The location of Sandy Palms and also Coral Sands next door, can't be beat. The Hoopers Bay area is clean and pristine, and at times felt as if we had the whole stretch of beach to ourselves. The apartment suite we had was just right for two; the bed was comfortable, and the small kitchenette had everything we needed to make most meals. There are many various restaurant options and small grocery stores up and down the coast in Exuma, so food was never an issue. The hosts Peter and Betty were lovely, so helpful and accommodating, changing linens when needed, and providing much needed advice on day trips. A car is a must, as it opens up the whole island to many days of exploration. When we go back to Exuma, we will be staying here again!

The home and location were amazing. Hosts were friendly and made check in/check out a breeze. The beach that the house is on was very nice, quiet and the best beach we visited while on Exuma.
