When you enter this hotel you think you've arrived in a different century! Beautifully decorated. It's not luxery but the atmosphere that makes you so happy here. The dinner we had was absolutely worth every penny.
Breakfast was nice and definitely enough but could be a bit more continental and certainly have a modern coffee machine!

Lovely hotel in beautiful surroundings. The staff were friendly and helpful, the bar had a good selection, the bed was big and comfortable, and I loved having a long soak in the bath. Also plenty of parking both on site and across the street by the forest (tip: if you need fuel, get it in Belgium!). The breakfast was plentiful, albeit a bit plain.
I should have paid more attention to the pictures (which are perfectly clear), but I think the room description mentioning a "separate seating area" is a bit misleading. The chairs and the bed are all part of the same room, and pretty much within reach.

Billed as 4*, but didnt have room coffee.
Room small but fine for single man travelling to play hockey
About 40 mins walk from the centre of Breda

Breakfast was ok.close to the forest so was lucky to walk
Rooms were extremely small and space for a suitcase was almost impossible especially having 2
$$$$
