Zeer matig. Best aan de prijs. Is het niet waard.

Geen verse koffie maar een ketel. Leek wel of we in een asielzoekerscentrum waren. Allemaal vluchtelingen die met een gebaksdoos langs het ontbijt buffet liepen en deze vol gooide met brood etc. Hotel zelf wat smoezelig en slecht onderhouden. Ramen zitten onder tape van het schilderen. Hoop troep op dak waarop we uitkeken. Ondanks vies laken niet verschoond maar gewoon omgedraaid.

Het was weer heerlijk. Hebben ditmaal in het restaurant gegeten (regen en wilde niet te ver lopen). Lekker gegeten voor een prima prijs.

Great hotel in a great location

Comfortable bed, clean bathroom of a nice size, smack in the middle of Haarlem city centre, friendly staff and a nice breakfast buffet.

It is ok, not great though

The hotel location is great - in the city center. Everything is close by.

On the inside the hotel looks old and tired. Staff wasn't as helpful as you would expect it to be. Strange payment policies. You are unable to put any charges on your room which is totally normal in properties where I stayed all over the world.

Perfect location

Amazing location. Staff very friendly and helpful. Special shout out to the team in the attached restaurant - both morning and evening. They made you feel welcome.

Room has no air-con but a portable fan is provided.

An amazing location- clean, simple, comfortable rooms.

The hotel has an amazing location!! We were a few minutes to everything. Our room was large and simple but clean. We even had an outdoor balcony that looked over the big church. We felt very comfortable.

- air conditioning would be nice. There was a couple fans in the room which helped. It was not very hot outside when we were there but the room still got warm in the room. - no mini fridge

the room was very old, basic, almost in another building like a 1960’s motel. very outdated and not looked after

I just like it.

Don't accept room in front due to noise. Don't accept courtyard room because of tobacco smoke. I would avoid staying in very warm weather, or even normal summer weather, because leaving a window open does not cool the room even when the outside temperature are not warm. These buildings are simply hot when you want cool. I did not ask for a fan, but they should have one for each room.

Good hotel in old town

In old town and 10 minutes walk from train and bus station. Room had a kettle in it. They changed our room to a quieter one at the back although the receptionist was a bit grumpy about this. Breakfast (16:50 euros) was OK.

You can hear the cathedral chime every 15 minutes at the front.

A very nice hotel in the center of Haarlem for a good price.

The location was great and the staff was very inviting. The lobby is nicely renovated and the room was very clean.

There was no division between the shower and the rest of the bathroom which made the entire bathroom floor wet after the shower. This was especially inconvenient in our 4 person room.

The location was 100% amazing. friendly Staff Great RestoBar to chill out Easy to find, and in the heart of the city, close to restaurants and bars. Good views and easy to find your way to where you wanna go.

Had booked one room, it was really nice at first glance, but first night was freezing cold in it, second day they had to move me to another room because the bathroom was leaking into the lobby, the new room had heating yeiiii, it had the same standards as my previous one, except I lost a bathtub for a shower. Would have loved some breakfast vouchers or some kind of mild compensation to use in the facilities just for the inconvenience of the first day and for having to pack and move to another room, but nothing. Still, had an amazing experience and the Hotel is worth it

overall the hotel was excellent. the cleanliness didn’t take from the other really poitive parts of the hotel and our st

location was brilliant, room size was more than adequate and the staff were very helpful.

the room wasn’t overly clean. there was at least one splatter of what looked like blood on the curtain, another blob of what was possible nail varnish on them too and cobwebs hanging from the ceiling.

Great location, very noisy though

The hotel is very nice with a nice bar & eating area and in a perfect location.

We stayed in a room on the first floor and the noise from the street was extremely bad from 1am till 4am. I live in Amsterdam and don’t mind city noises, but this was on another level. It spoiled the stay.

Very good

Excellent hotel. Friendly staff. Nice large room. Our only disappointment was the smell coming from the bathroom, as it sometimes smelled like sewer gas. The location is outstanding. We walked from Haarlem central, and then was easily able to tour the sites and restaurants in the area. Beds were very soft. Bunk beds excellent for the children.

Only the bathroom smell was a disappointment.

Great location, bad service

The location was perfect. Right in the centre and surrounded by great restaurants and bars. Nearby musea and the shopping area.

Our room was right near the streets. The music from the bar beneath or room was super noisy till 1 am which wasn’t so pleasant. Also, by arrival our room was super cold! We couldn’t find the thermostat and when we told this at the reception the next morning (we were very tired from our travels so we decided to tell them next morning) they laughed at us. This is the main reason our stay wasn’t as lovely as we had hoped it to be. Finally the breakfast was fine, but they served only black coffee. No cappuccino. We had to buy these extra. We won’t be coming back to this hotel.

If the price still is cheaper than at the other hotels, we might come back.

Location is perfect in the middle of the center. On the other side there is the dome, but it is not too loud to get wake up by it. The price was okay.

The double twin bed was very uncomfortable. We were very tired in the morning and had back pain. The breakfast was solid, but for 16,50 Euro not with a very variable choice.

amazing location, extremely helpful staff, ended up in a great room too, good wifi if you might need to work while you’re travelling, and a great shower and bathtub!

Revamp needed with old carpets in passage and the rooms Not a kid friendly room. 2 floors with no safety, not fit for yong kids Construction in the hallway of passage during stay which was not communicated prior and made for awful unpleasant experience Bathroom not for 1 year old kid Many flights of stairs not good for small kids and family stay
