3 nights in beautiful Haarlem

The hosts were fantastic, friendly and made us feel welcome and at home. The location. Size of the sleeping and living area. The large windows, charming garden view. The lovely breakfast, the welcome flowers.

Rug/carpet is a bit tired. Mattress was sloping in two different directions from the centre and was too soft / springy for us. The bathroom is a bit cramped.

Superb

Our room was huge, and grandly furnished (as in the photos). Our room was on the ground floor, but overlooked the back garden. Very quiet. No stairs! There was a kitchenette with kettle, fridge, microwave and nespresso machine. Ours hosts were friendly. Generous breakfasts were served in our room each morning. We had use of the courtyard garden over which our room looked. Excellent, safe and dry bike storage.

There is no reception. Self check-in. We received no instructions regarding the key lock box. We had to phone for instructions, using global roaming on our New Zealand Sim card. $12.00. Grrrrr......

Absolutely unique accomodation, comfortable room, in the very heart of Haarlem :) We enjoyed the stay and the lovely city. Great breakfast, warmly served by Esther, thank you!

Charming room with a perfect location to explore the city of Haarlem.

The location was perfect to explore the City of Haarlem and was also great for returning to the Amsterdam Airport….hopped the bus across the street and it dropped us off right at the airport. Esther, our host, was very accommodating! Thank you!

It was so hot, so wish it had air conditioning!

Het Hart stole our hearts

This was the first stay of our 8 day holiday in the Netherlands, and it could not have kicked off better. This classic B&B stole our hearts, and the hosts are so kind and friendly. The breakfast was delivered to our room on a beautiful trolley. Very classy place.

Beautiful flat in the beautiful city

The place looks gorgeous inside, and is right in the city centre. There’s everything needed, and the bed is super comfy. The cherry on top is the breakfast that owners bring to your room: the quality of products and selection was great!

Look at the picture of the rooms! That’s real and where we stayed in Haarlem.

Beautiful old building with a private garden for guests. Very central location in Haarlem and only 15-20 minutes from Amsterdam or Schiphol. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Great breakfast served in your room.

I wish they could fit in more plugs - I know that’s complicated in historic rooms. Especially the bath retrofit had no plugs but the mini kitchen did.

Lovely B&B in the center of Haarlem, a must go!

The location was great, the hosts were excellent & the breakfast was tasty and a good amount. Check-in & check-out were very easy. Definitely recommend staying here if you visit Haarlem

Great stay, beautiful building

I used to live in Haarlem and was visiting for new years. I knew the location was great, but it was also a beautiful building, big room with a kitchen and nice sized bathroom. Comfy bed and good breakfast. I would come again!

Excellent value for money

Excellent value for money - can be used as a great base for exploring the city of Haarlem. For us it was just a 1 night stay as we had a party in the city. Also, the breakfast is just amazing - I dont really know how the owners make money between heating the place, cleaning and a nice breakfast.

spotlessly clean, lovely room, very very comfortable bed, quite location. breakfast was just great and the owners could not have been more accommodating. would highly recommend this well located property.

Close to everything, no need for a car.

Owners were very accommodating and it helped they could speak English. The location was close to everything. We are older but do lots of walking and did not rent a car this time. We saw what we wanted and got there on foot but there is also busses right out in front of their door if you can't walk. Breakfast was wonderful!!!

Breakfast was wonderful but it is served to your room at 9 am. We eat breakfast at home earlier but we managed. They were so nice that out last morning we had to catch a bus to go to another country and we needed to check out at 7 am. They brought us all the breakfast items the day before. That was wonderful for them to do that for us.
