I would like a more transparent accounting of the offered goods

Very good breakfast, beautiful, clean room and a nice view to the old part of the city

we were very disappointed when we booked a deck chair on the beach and canceled the reservation the same day. On departure, despite the fact that it was canceled the same day a few hours later, they also counted the reservation!! It is very unfriendly and disrespectful to guests!

End of summer holiday

We spend 5 nights in this hotel by the end of august with our dog and we loved that. It has definitely exceeded our expectations. It is even hard to say what was better - spacious room with the large bed with good mattress and so soft pillows, bowl and toy for our dog :-) The breakfast was excellent - great offer of cold and warm meals, local cheeses or hams, olives, so much of fresh fruits (fruits salads as well as various berries etc), there was selection of about twelve milks - I think that speaks for itself. I really think it was one of the best breakfast offers we have ever seen. In the price there was also included afternoon drink (coffee, prosecco and small snacks) which was very nice. We have not used the hotel shuttle (car or boat) to the beach as we went to dog's beach, but it was also included as a service, which is surely useful. We also recommend the hotel's a 'la card restaurant, we dined there twice and both times it was an experience. Have a tartar biftek, if you need an advice. Also the location is great - just couple of minutes of walk from old town and if you have a dog (or you are a walker) there is a lovely park just next to the hotel as well.

Perfect location with an outstanding breakfast but a lot of Instagram poser

Outstanding breakfast!!!! 7-13 available including lunch. Big big variety and very high quality. Best ever had! Location directly at the city centre and the park was very nice.

They did not answer to my questions upfront how to get there. So journey was challenging. Online check in ment that I did not receive any info and the app was not helpful. It was (möchte gerne) „Schickimicki“ (Instagram poser) we did not like for the vacation. More relaxed visitors would be great.

I liked the room, very big and comfy, the bed was very comfortable to sleep in, i liked the pool area, the restaurant, breakfast and lunch. The staff was very nice and polite especially Ema from the reception.

The balcony was way too small to accomodate two people in the same time, maybe if the terrace furniture was a little smaller (the table in particular) and the guys from the pool bar staff were a little dismissive of my needs and they gave something else to drink instead of what i specifically ordered and they were a little too fake smiley, but overall was ok.

This is the best managed holiday hotel that i have ever visited. The breakfast with brunch as they change constantly their food offer, the aperitivo at the bar around 5 pm, well prepared tennis courts, fitness studio, friendly staff…i could write a whole PhD on it :) Take the boat taxi that is offered by the hotel…captain Marin is the soul of this Island and a great value add to the hotel. At the bar Jovica is the master in mixing the drinks with a great smile on his face. The hotel let us stay at the pool after check out, which is a great sign of hosting. All in all, we had a lot of fun staying at this hotel and would recommend it to anybody who wants to explore Rab

Very nice place and hotel.

The hotel and place were very nice. The food was nice, especially Istrian sausages.

Room service was not performed every day. Some food in the restaurant was not cooled, missing a food cooler. How is that possible in a 4-star hotel??

Great 3 days spent on the pool and beautiful Padova beach.

The pool area is perfect (comfy sundecks, pool temperature, pool bar. Also the breakfast and the brunch were great. The best of all is that the hotel is in the woods so it’s peaceful and quiet.

This is a perfect location to explore the old town of Rab in the evening. The staff were excellent.

The breakfast had an excellent variety and quality of food. Except for the fruit juice which was incredibly sweet.

The music played at the pool one afternoon was dreadful. Played by a DJ and the arm woman murdered several tunes we had to leave the pool area.

Lovely hotel, mediocre surroundings

The breakfast was outstanding. It ran until 11 and then there was also a few brunch 11-1, the choices were great and quality was high. The bed was extremely comfortable and the view was great (ask for a higher floor to see above the trees!). Staff were very warm and friendly and the hotel and facilities were great. The restaurant food was also very good but would benefit from having a different selection to restaurants in town.

The bathroom was oddly small. The beach near the property was next to a concrete building covered in fascist graffiti which was very concerning and made us feel less comfortable. That beach had fairly dirty water also. The beach which we went to with the water taxi was better but the worst beach we visited in Croatia with uncomfortable (rented) beds. The hotel was glorious but I wouldn't come back. The food in Rab was pretty much the same every where and this got boring.

Great place to chill and enjoy Rab!

The place is great and the location is amazing. Close to everyting and great view. Breakfast was very good, nice variation and the brunch idea was also a big plus!

The cleaning times were a bit strange. I was very often disturbed in the afternoon nap by the vacuum cleaner sound. As far as I know, cleaning should be done before noon.

Two day getaway to Rab

For a spontaneous weekend to spent on Rab we booked the imperial Valamar. The staff was so nice and helpful, hotel and its facilities are clean and flawless, couldn’t have gone for a better choice.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast and brunch excellent, evening drinks around the pool a lovely surprise. Situated very near the city centre the hotel couldn't have been situated better. Its a lovely well preserved historical hotel which add value to the island.

Nice hotel with beautiful park

Hotel is well renovated and have really excellent historical garden in front of hotel. Location is excellent as well as really good breakfast with variety of options for everyone. We checked out 2h hours more and stayed rest of the day using swimming pool and spa and using parking. Massage service is also good and staff is really helpful while in the same time they are not intrusive.

Maybe new elevators could be changed to make better feeling as well as to be fit to all renovation already done.
