Very central in Truro..comfortable accomodation .

Manning's is located in the heart of Truro, just off Victoria Square. The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. My room, 42, was spacious and comfortable with a nice ensuite bathroom. There was little noise from the street but the sound of the TV in room 40 (next door) came through loud & clear. Breakfast was very good - excellent scrambled eggs, by the way - compliments to the chef. I'd happily stay here again for the sheer convenience and the scrambled eggs but I'd pack some earplugs just in case...

Hopefully the loose towel hook in the bathroom has been fixed...

The rooms were clean, very comfortable bed. The location is perfect for a show at the hall for Cornwall. Free parking is a bonus.

Short staffed in bar and restaurant one poor girl was absolutely run off her feet, she remained friendly and professional and able to fulfill requests despite her stress, i heard her say she was northern but didnt get her name shes a credit. Quite dated decor, Needs updating and a good deep clean, lots of dust on skirting boards and cobwebs it felt grubby. Bar and restaurant smells like a greasy spoon café, needs better degreasing and ventilation. Breakfast staff not dressed well, looked untidy and were congregated around the bar talking amongst themselves loudly throughout our breakfast we now know every ailment of one member of staff recent illness.
