Great location, affordable, lovely apartment, nice and quiet and close to the beach.

We liked the location of the apartments as it was nice and quiet and close to the beach. The apartments were lovely and clean and very affordable. I loved the heated pool and the lovely plants that surrounded the apartments.

Fully equipped modern apartment for self catering

Very spacious apartment and very comfortable with everything you need for self catering. Good sized fully equipped kitchen has everything. My wife loved the heated pool. Everything spotlessly clean and friendly owner, laid back vibe, and 1 minute's walk from the beach.

John gave us exceptional service and nothing was too much trouble.

It was very nice but maybe just a little dated. We enjoyed it there and would stay there again.

Very comfortable and good location

Superb location with close bars and shops. Four mile beach at end of road 2 minutes away. Exceptionally clean and very comfortable bed with great linen. Two balconies overlooking pretty garden and pool. John handed over the keys and was helpful thought out our stay. Would thoroughly recommend this gem of a place to stay.

This place is the best location, only a short walk to four mile Beach which is just magnificent. The owner and staff were amazing, making me feel right at home. I was delighted to find out that 1 of the rooms is pet friendly so I'll definitely be bringing my dogs next time. So quiet and relaxing, pub across the road, what more could u want!!? And only a short drive or bike ride into Port douglas to do shopping and whatever other touristy things. I can't wait to visit again. Thankyou so much for being a part of my journey. Will be recommending to everyone I know.

beautiful gardens, lovely location close to beach and cafes. peaceful and

location, garden and facilities; pool spa; clean and quiet. off street parking; the self contained apartment had all we needed to relax.

lights in living area need replacing and quality of kitchen utensils made food prep a chore

Location is good and quit

The beds are outdated and hard to sleep. There was an electricity span, which spoiled some of our food products. The dishwasher was broken and only after a week another was placed.

Highly recommended if you want somewhere to stay that isn’t a large resort. Thete is a regular shuttle service into town

Quirky and colourful. Not crowded. Quiet. Lovely pool and gardens. The apartment was spacious and comfortable. The owner went out of his way to accommodate me as I arrived early, and on my last day he was very obliging and allowed me to check out later than usual.

Great place for all.

The complex was quiet, well appointed, close to beach and close to pub and restaurant. The bus stop was just outside and it was a 10 minute drive into shopping precinct. Great place to relax.

It was very quiet away from the main drag only a walk to the beach easy bus pick ups and drop offs, John the owner was so helpful, met us late at night for the key, room was gorgeous so clean tidy and comfty can't wait to go back thanks John

Great place for a relaxing get away

Owner John very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Facilities clean and set up great. Price was reasonable and we would stay again.

Location was a little away from the city centre but if you wanted to spend your time at the beach this was ideal.

Delightfully tropical and we would stay there again without hesitation.

The manager, John, came out to meet us when we arrived, took us to our apartment and saw to our every need with a smile. The apartment was clean, welcoming, beachy, comfortable and had everything we needed. The gardens and pool were delightfully tropical and wonderful to come home to each day. Having our vehicle under cover near our unit was great and the neighbourhood location was peaceful.

Dream location

Dream Catcher is in a dream location. Near 4 Mile Beach for glorious morning walks, across the road from excellent coffee and food and easy drive into town. It’s peaceful paradise bliss.

quirky and quiet

Quiet neighbourhood away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Port Douglas, but with pub across the road (hardly any noise) and one other restaurant and seafood take away in close proximity. Very nice apartment, colourful, Balinese furniture, comfortable bed. We had a deluxe studio with bifold doors which makes it basically in a separate bedroom, kitchenette, laundry facilities on each floor. Nice swimming pool and spa. Our unit on the first floor was very private with small balcony looking out on side street and neighbours garden. it was a home away from home. We would definitely stay here again.

Some maintenance issues, especially with the electricity, but the owner John is very helpful and forthcoming. The building is up for sale though.

Superb

A lovely, small property a minute’s walk from the beach, which can be walked all the way into the centre of town. The serene pool and garden create a wonderful contrast to the quirky and colourful buildings. The proprietor John is a nice, laid back man who knows the region well and can provide good sightseeing advice if asked. We would return in an instant.

Well equipped, clean and comfortable accommodation.

We upgraded to a 1 br apartment and it was no trouble go John. The property is well equipped and clean. The Main Street is 4 kms from the property and a car is essential. There is a restaurant opposite and a bottle shop and take away fish and chips shop close by.

There is nothing to dislike.
