Very comfortable, clean, hostess is very friendly and hospitable (tea and biscuits/cake offered to us on arrival) old-fashioned comfort and ambience, great breakfast, good location for exploring West Cork

It is a little slice of heaven! Quiet and remote. Comfortable and clean rooms. Maureen is a great hostess and her breakfast was divine! Made me feel like I was staying at Gran’s house.

Breakfast was excellent overall with generous helpings and local produce used. Suggest also low fat/natural yoghurt option since there was a good choice of fruit based yoghurts. Stewed fruit which was home made was a nice addition to breakfast offering.
Towels were changed every day.
As a couple we found the bed a little small and not very comfortable. Suggest addition of water glasses in bedroom.
